QUALIFICHE VALENCIA GP: RECORD DELLA PISTA E PRIMA FILA PER ALDEGUER. LÓPEZ IN QUINTA
Le qualifiche del Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana sono giunte al termine con il CAG SpeedUp in seconda (Aldeguer) e tredicesima (López) posizione.
Anche oggi il numero 54 ha messo a segno un altro grande risultato chiudendo le FP3 con un nuovo record della pista in 1’33.264. Il giovane di Murcia ha mantenuto anche in Q2 un ottimo ritmo che gli ha permesso di sfiorare la pole con soli +0.174 di distacco dal primo. Fermín affronterà dunque la gara di domani partendo dalla prima fila della griglia.
Giornata di alti e bassi invece per Alonso che, dopo aver terminato le FP3 con il quinto tempo in 1’33.751, ha iniziato a soffrire nella qualifica del pomeriggio a causa dell’aumento delle temperature. Infatti, il numero 21 del CAG SpeedUp si è qualificato con il quattordicesimo tempo in 1’34.111 e domani partirà dalla quinta fila di partenza.

“Oggi avremmo potuto lottare un po’ di più in qualifica ma sono comunque soddisfatto del risultato perché il nostro obbiettivo era quello di prenderci la prima fila. Il ritmo c’è e quindi faremo il possibile domani per fare una buona partenza e balzare subito in testa a tutti gli altri piloti”.
LÓPEZ #21: 14° in 1’34.111
“Non sono molto contento di come sono andata la Q2. Questa mattina ho fatto una grande ripresa ma poi nel pomeriggio abbiamo sofferto molto con il cambio di temperatura della pista. Continuiamo a lavorare per risolvere il problema e per cercare di dare tutto quello che abbiamo nella gara di domani”.

Qualifying for the Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana came to an end with the CAG SpeedUp in second (Aldeguer) and thirteenth (López) position.
Even today the number 54 achieved another great result, closing FP3 with a new track record of 1’33.264. The young rider from Murcia also in Q2 maintained an excellent pace which allowed him to come close to pole position with just +0.174 behind the leader. Fermín will therefore tackle tomorrow’s race starting from the front row of the grid.
A day of ups and downs instead for Alonso who, after finishing FP3 with the fifth fastest time in 1’33.751, began to suffer in the afternoon qualifying due to the increase in temperatures. In fact, the number 21 of the CAG SpeedUp qualified with the fourteenth time in 1’34.111 and will start from the fifth starting row tomorrow.

“Today we could have fought a little more in qualifying but I am still satisfied with the result because our goal was to get the front row. The pace is there and therefore we will do everything we can tomorrow to make a good start and immediately jump into the lead of all the other riders”.

“I’m not very happy with how Q2 went. This morning I made a great recovery but then in the afternoon we suffered a lot with the change in track temperature. We continue to work to resolve the problem and to try to give our best in tomorrow’s race”.
