TOP 10 PER CAG SPEEDUP NELLE LIBERE DELL’AUSTRIAN GP
Il CAG SpeedUp team è tornato in pista quest’oggi al Red Bull Ring per affrontare le prime sessioni di libere del Gran Premio d’Austria, decimo round del Campionato Mondiale Moto2.
Inizio solido per Alonso Lopez e Fermín Aldeguer che hanno concluso la prima giornata austriaca rispettivamente in decima e nona posizione.
Una prima sessione di libere dedicata soprattutto alla messa a punto della Boscoscuro per la squadra 21 che ha chiuso in P12 la prova con il crono di 1’35.256. Alonso è poi rientrato in pista nel pomeriggio abbassando di quasi due decimi di secondo il risultato del mattino riscontrando qualche difficoltà nel trovare buon ritmo ed il giro veloce su questo tracciato. Il venerdì austriaco si conclude con il decimo tempo per Lopez ed il suo team, in 1’34.964 (+0.914).
Sesto tempo in 1’34.800 a fine FP1 per il numero 54 del CAG SpeedUp con un gap di +0.640 dal primo, segnando un buon inizio al Red Bull Ring. Nella sessione del pomeriggio Fermin ed il suo team si sono invece concentrati sul setup della moto in vista delle qualifiche di domani senza però riuscire ad abbassare il crono del mattino concludendo la prima giornata del Gran Premio d’Austria in nona posizione.

“Sono contento di com’è andata questa giornata perché le sensazioni con la moto sono meglio di come pensavo anche se dobbiamo migliorare qualche particolare. Abbiamo margine di miglioramento per fare un ottimo risultato e avvicinarci ai piloti in vetta”.

“É stata una giornata abbastanza altalenante e la pista non è sicuramente d’aiuto. Sono comunque contenta di come stiamo lavorando e domani tentiamo di avanzare di qualche posizione”.
TOP 10 FOR CAG SPEEDUP IN THE FREE PRACTICES OF THE AUSTRIAN GP
The CAG SpeedUp team is back on track today at the Red Bull Ring to tackle the first free practice sessions of the Austrian Grand Prix, tenth round of the Moto2 World Championship.
Solid start for Alonso Lopez and Fermín Aldeguer finished the Austrian day in tenth and ninth position respectively.
A first free practice session mainly dedicated to setting up the Boscoscuro for team 21 who finished the race P12 with a time of 1’35.256. Alonso then returned to the track in the afternoon, lowering his morning result by almost two tenths of a second, encountering some difficulty in finding a good rhythm and the fastest lap on this track. The Austrian Friday ended with the tenth time for Lopez and his team, in 1’34.964 (+0.914).
Sixth time in 1’34.800 at the end of FP1 for the number 54 of the CAG SpeedUp with a gap of +0.640 from the first, marking a good start at the Red Bull Ring. In the afternoon session, Fermin and his team instead concentrated on setting up the bike in view of tomorrow’s qualifying sessions, without however managing to lower the morning time, concluding the first day of the Austrian Grand Prix in ninth position.

“I’m happy with how this day went because the sensations with the bike are better than I thought even if we need to improve some details. We have room for improvement to achieve an excellent result and get closer to the riders at the top”.

“It was quite an up-and-down day and the track is definitely not helping. In any case, I’m happy with how we’re working and tomorrow we’ll try to move up a few positions”.
