ALDEGUER E LÓPEZ CHIUDONO IL TEST PIRELLI CON OTTIME SENSAZIONI. IL PRIMO PASSO VERSO IL 2024
A poche ore dalla fine del Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana, il Team SpeedUp è tornato in pista al Circuit Ricardo Tormo per la prima giornata di test firmato Pirelli. L’azienda italiana andrà a sostituire Dunlop nella fornitura di pneumatici al Motomondiale a partire dalla stagione 2024.
Nonostante non abbiano corso l’ultima sessione della giornata, Alonso López e Fermín Aldeguer hanno dimostrato di essere molto competitivi grazie al primo e al terzo posto della classifica combinata.
Alonso ha chiuso il primo turno segnando il nuovo record della pista in 1’33.061 durante l’ultimo giro. Nella seconda prova, il numero 21 ha completato 28 giri (due in più rispetto al mattino) e ha sostato tre volte al box per cambiare gomme e per qualche piccola modifica alla sua Boscoscuro.
Il numero 54 ha iniziato il primo turno con gomme dure ma è con le morbide che si è sentito subito più sicuro; il giovane di Murcia ha segnato all’ultimo giro il terzo tempo della sessione in 1’33.456 (22 giri in totale). Nel secondo turno del pomeriggio, Aldeguer è partito con la morbida usata firmando il suo miglior tempo della giornata in 1’33.151.
Per i piloti del Team SpeedUp è ora di prendersi una pausa dal Motomondiale fino ai prossimi test prestagionali previsti per febbraio 2024.

Just a few hours after the end of the Comunitat Valenciana Grand Prix, Team SpeedUp returned to the Ricardo Tormo Circuit for the first day of the Pirelli test. The Italian company will replace Dunlop as the tire supplier for the MotoGP™ starting from the 2024 season.
Despite not running the final session of the day, Alonso López and Fermín Aldeguer demonstrated being highly competitive, securing first and third positions respectively in the combined standings.
Alonso concluded the first session by setting a new track record with a 1’33.061, during his final lap. In the second run, the rider number 21 completed 28 laps (two more than in the morning) and made three pit stops for tire changes and minor adjustments to his Boscoscuro bike.
The number 54 started the first session with hard tires but immediatily he felt more confident after switching to soft ones. The young rider from Murcia posted the third-fastest time of the session with a 1’33.456 on his last lap (totaling 22 laps). In the second afternoon session, Aldeguer started on used soft tires, setting his best time of the day at 1’33.151.
For the Team SpeedUp riders, it’s now time to take a break from the MotoGP until the upcoming preseason tests scheduled for February 2024.
