JEREZ, PORTIMÃO: CAG SPEEDUP CONCLUDE I TEST PRESTAGIONALI 2023
Al circuito di Jerez della Frontera e all’autodromo Internacional do Algarve, il CAG SpeedUp Team conclude con buoni risultati i test prestagionali.
A pochi giorni dall’inizio del Campionato Mondiale Moto2™ i due piloti Fermín Aldeguer e Alonso López superano 5 intensi giorni di test dimostrando determinazione e professionalità.
Nonostante le condizioni atmosferiche altalenanti a Portimão, le quali non hanno permesso di girare in pista il sabato mattina, i due portacolori in sella alle loro Boscoscuro hanno completato molti giri garantendo alle due squadre utili feedback sulle prestazioni delle moto.
Jerez
Ottimo inizio per Alonso al circuito di Jerez de la Frontera dove ha dimostrato di sapersi muovere molto bene fra le curve classificandosi in terza posizione. Nei 166 giri di pista totali, López ha fermato il crono con 1’41.575 durante la seconda giornata, confermando di essere lo stesso della scorsa stagione.
Anche il compagno di squadra Aldeguer è migliorato durante la seconda giornata spagnola; realizzando il suo miglior tempo in 1’42.473. Due giorni di test in cui la squadra 54 si è concentrata sulla performance della Boscoscuro in pista provando nuove tecniche e combinazioni per un totale di 145 giri. Fermin termina in 14esima posizione con un ottimo feeling sopra alla moto.
Portimão
Lopez, in seguito a due giornate difficili a causa di una forma fisica non ottimale, ha finito l’ultima sessione della domenica portimonense in 15° posizione con il crono di 1’42.893, sebbene non al 100% ha affrontato i test in maniera positiva raccogliendo importanti dati in vista dell’inizio del campionato.
Il numero 54 del team, ha dato il meglio durante l’ultima giornata a Portimão realizzando il suo miglior tempo di 1’41.979 terminando in seconda posizione; Fermín ha dimostrato un grande feeling con la sua moto e registrato tempi molto competitivi. L’inizio si è dimostrato soddisfacente e il giovane murciano si presenta come un avversario da temere per questa stagione.
Il Team CAG SpeedUp si prepara ora per la prima gara della stagione, che si svolgerà il prossimo fine settimana sempre a Portimão, all’autodromo Internacional dell’Algarve.
LOPEZ #21:
“Le giornate a Jerez sono andate molto molto bene, siamo riusciti a prendere un buon ritmo e fra un giro e l’altro ci sono stati molti miglioramenti. Ci sentiamo pronti e competitivi.
All’inizio di questi ultimi tre giorni di test a Portimão non sono stato al massimo della mia forma fisica e questo mi ha fermato un po’. Per il GP mi sento ugualmente molto motivato e con tanta voglia di tornare ad essere me stesso al 100% sopra la moto.”
ALDEGUER #54:
“Devo dire la verità che i test sono andati molto bene. Finiamo la quinta giornata con un buon tempo nonostante non sia stato il migliore. Abbiamo lavorato molto sulla moto per trovare il feeling migliore in pista. Nella giornata di oggi, invece di utilizzare una gomma nuova abbiamo preferito quella usata ieri. Proprio per questo motivo il risultato è positivo, siamo pronti per la gara di domenica prossima. Non vedo l’ora sia venerdì prossimo per lottare nella FP1.”
JEREZ, PORTIMÃO: CAG SPEEDUP COMPLETES THE 2023 PRE-SEASON TESTS 2023
At the Jerez della Frontera circuit and at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, the CAG SpeedUp Team concludes the pre-season tests with good results.
A few days before the start of the Moto2™ World Championship, the two riders Fermín Aldeguer and Alonso López overcome 5 intense days of testing demonstrating determination and professionalism.
Despite the fluctuating weather conditions in Portimão, which prevented from running on the track on Saturday morning, the two riders astride their Boscoscuro bikes completed many laps providing the two teams with useful feedback on the bikes’ performance.
Jerez
Excellent start for Alonso at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit where he demonstrated that he knows how to move very well between the corners, he finished in third position. With the total of 166 laps of the track, López stopped the time with 1’41.575 during the second day, confirming that he is the same as last season.
The teammate Aldeguer also improved during the second Spanish matchday; realizing his best time in 1’42.473. Two days of testing in which team 54 concentrated on the performance of the Boscoscuro bike on the track, trying new techniques and combinations for a total of 145 laps. Fermin finishes in 14th position with an excellent feeling on the bike.
Portimão
Lopez, following two difficult days due to non-optimal physical form, finished the last session of Sunday in 15th position with a time of 1’42.893, although he did not face the tests in a 100% positive way collecting important data in view of the start of the Championship.
The number 54 of the team gave his best during the last day in Portimão, setting his best time of 1’41.979 in second position; Fermín showed a great feeling with his bike and recorded very competitive times. The start has proved satisfactory and the young from Murcia looks like an opponent to fear for this season.
The CAG SpeedUp Team is now preparing for the first race of the season, which will take place next weekend, again in Portimão, at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve.
LÓPEZ #21:
“The days in Jerez went very well, we managed to get into a good rhythm and there were many improvements between one lap and the next. We feel ready and competitive.
At the beginning of these last three days of testing in Portimão I haven’t been in my best physical shape and that has stopped me a bit. For the Gran Prix I still feel very motivated and with a great desire to go back to being 100% myself on the bike.”
ALDEGUER #54:
“I have to tell the truth that the tests went very well. We finish the fifth day with good weather despite not being the best. We worked a lot on the bike to find the best feeling on the track. Today, instead of using a new tire we preferred the one used yesterday. Precisely for this reason the result is positive, we are ready for next Sunday’s race. I can’t wait for next Friday to fight in FP1.”
