GARA: LOPEZ STRAORDINARIO, RIMONTA FINO A P8. ALDEGUER P14 DOPO IL LONG LAP

Dal Mugello arriva una grande prestazione di Alonso Lopez e della Boscoscuro B-22 che insieme hanno raggiunto la top ten recuperando ben 11 posizioni. Fermin Aldegeur, penalizzato da un long lap a metà gara, resiste assicurandosi la zona punti.

Da p19 a p8 con determinazione, ritmo e costanza. È la descrizione perfetta di una gara perfetta che ha ricucito, e alla grande, la ferita creatasi dopo una disastrosa qualifica. Alonso Lopez, al suo secondo Gp della stagione Moto2 2022, si è fatto spazio fra i big facendosi notare come già aveva fatto nello scorso GP di Francia. Buona la sua partenza e fondamentali i primi due giri in cui recupera sette posizioni, poi Alonso trova stabilità e senza errori arriva al traguardo ottavo.

Aldeguer salva il salvabile rimanendo in zona punti sebbene la complicata gara. Al giro 16 il giovane spagnolo viene rallentato dal long lap, penalità inflittagli per aver superato il limite della pista, in cui perde tre posizioni dopo aver battagliato con Dalla Porta nei giri precedenti ritrovandosi sedicesimo. Fermin non si scoraggia e negli ultimi cinque giri da tutto fino a raggiungere p14 raccogliendo due punti.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 8°

“Sono davvero molto contento di com’è andata oggi! Nel warm up non abbiamo potuto fare molto con pneumatici rain. In gara sono riuscito a girare molto bene nei primi giri recuperando parecchie posizioni. Mi sono ritrovato a girare con piloti esperti imparando moltissimo da loro. Alla fine chiudiamo questo weekend con un ottimo ottavo posto, super soddisfatti della rimonta e del lavoro svolto nella nostra seconda gara. Grazie a tutta la squadra, continuiamo così”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 14°

“Non del tutto contento con il risultato della gara di oggi, ma ci siamo mostrati forti; quando abbiamo perso posizioni abbiamo saputo recuperarle in fretta con dei buoni sorpassi. Peccato per quel long lap che ha decisamente condizionato la nostra gara togliendoci la possibilità di continuare la risalita. Ad ogni modo, siamo ugualmente contenti e determinati a continuare il buon lavoro che stiamo facendo”.

RACE: GREAT LÓPEZ, FINISHED IN P8. ALDEGUER P14 AFTER THE LONG LAP PENALTY

From p19 to p8 with determination, rhythm and tenacity. It is the perfect description of a perfect race that healed, and in a big way, the wound created after a disastrous qualifying. Alonso López, at his second GP of the 2022 Moto2 season, made space among the big names, making himself known as he had already done in the last French GP. His start was good and the first two laps in which he recovered seven positions were fundamental, then Alonso found stability and reached the finish line eighth without errors.

Aldeguer saves what can be saved by remaining in the points although the complicated race. On lap 16 the young Spaniard was slowed down by the long lap, a penalty imposed on him for having exceeded the track limit, in which he lost three positions after battling Dalla Porta in the previous laps, and so reaching p16. Fermin stayed strong and in the last five laps he gave everything up to took p14, gaining two points.

ALONSO LÓPEZ # 21: 8^th

“I’m really very happy with how it went today! In the warm up we couldn’t do much with rain tires. In the race I managed to ride very well in the first laps, making up several positions. I found myself riding with experienced riders and learning a lot from them. In the end we close this weekend with an excellent eighth place, super satisfied with the comeback and the work done in our second race. Thanks to the whole team, let’s continue like this”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER # 54: 14^th

“Not entirely happy with the result of today’s race, but we showed ourselves strong; when we lost positions we were able to recover them quickly with good overtaking. Too bad for that long lap that definitely conditioned our race by taking away the possibility of continuing the ascent. In any case, we are equally happy and determined to continue the good work we are doing”.
