GARA: LÓPEZ SETTIMO NEL GRAN PREMIO D’AUSTRIA, ALDEGUER CADE AL DODICESIMO GIRO

Al Red Bull Ring il team CAG SpeedUp ha da poco concluso la gara del Gran Premio d’Austria. Con il settimo posto Alonso Lopez chiude un weekend alquanto positivo, mentre Aldeguer perde la possibilità di lottare per la top ten dopo la caduta al dodicesimo giro.

Veloce e competitivo in ogni prova, poi l’ottima qualifica in cui per la sua prima volta in Moto2 si prende la prima fila e poi la gara, ancora insieme ai big. Un giro dopo la partenza ed Alonso era già in testa, ma per pochi giri perché poi il feeling con la sua Boscoscuro è cambiato, soprattutto in curva. López è però riuscito a rimanere in top ten fino a tagliare il traguardo in settima posizione.

Sfortunata la domenica di Aldeguer. Era prevista una gara impegnativa ma alla portata del giovane spagnolo che dopo due giorni di continua crescita aveva confermato i progressi soprattutto nel warm up del mattino (P1 in 1’34.684). Purtroppo la squadra 54 ha terminato in anticipo la sua gara con una caduta alla nuova chicane del dodicesimo giro.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 7°

“Sono felice di com’è andata la gara, ma sinceramente speravo andasse meglio! Credo sia una delle domeniche in cui abbiamo imparato di più e dalla quale possiamo recuperare importanti dati che ci aiuteranno ad essere più competitivi d’ora in avanti. Sono molto motivato e con moltissima voglia di tornare in moto perché, sinceramente, credo ci manchi molto poco per fare lo step per stare sempre davanti! Grazie come sempre a tutti gli sponsor, al team per il lavoro svolto e a tutti quelli che mi sostengono ogni giorno”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: DNF

“Oggi avevamo il ritmo per fare bene, ci meritavamo di stare nel podio ma la caduta ci ha lasciato senza la possibilità di lottare. Ad ogni modo, guardiamo il lato positivo di quello che è stato il nostro primo weekend austriaco continuando a crescere e a fare esperienza. Occhi su Misano, non vedo l’ora di continuare a lavorare”.

RACE: LÓPEZ SEVENTH IN THE AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX, ALDEGUER CRASHES ON LAP TWELFTH

At the Red Bull Ring the CAG SpeedUp team has just finished the Austrian Grand Prix race. With seventh place Alonso Lopez closes a rather positive weekend, while Aldeguer loses the chance to fight for the top ten after the crash on lap 12.

Fast and competitive in every session, then the excellent qualifying in which for his first time in Moto2 he took the front row and then the race, again with the big riders. One lap after the start and Alonso was already at the top, but for a few laps because then the feeling with his Boscoscuro changed, especially in the corners. However, López managed to stay in the top ten until he crossed the finish line in seventh position.

Not the best Sunday for Aldeguer. A demanding race was expected but within the reach of the young Spaniard who after two days of continuous growth had confirmed his progress especially in the morning warm up (P1 in 1’34.684). Unfortunately, team 54 finished their race early with a crash at the new chicane on lap 12.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 7^th

“I’m happy with how the race went, but I honestly hoped it would finish better! I think it is one of the Sundays on which we have learned the most and from which we can get important data that will help us to be more competitive from now on. “Today we had the pace to do well, we deserved to be on the podium but the crash left us without the chance to fight. Anyway, let’s look at the positive side of what was our first Austrian weekend while continuing to grow and gain experience. Eyes on Misano, I can’t wait to continue working”.
