QUALIFICHE: LÓPEZ BATTE IL RECORD DELLA PISTA E SEGNA LA POLE ARGENTINA

All’autodromo di Termas de Rio Hondo Alonso López lascia tutti a bocca aperta segnando la pole position all’ultimo giro e battendo il record della pista. Aldeguer conclude la sua qualifica con il sedicesimo tempo.

Un sabato argentino impeccabile per il numero 21 del team BETA TOOLS SpeedUp.  Per Alonso pista bagnata o asciutta non fa differenza perché oggi ha dimostrato che in entrambe le condizioni è stato il più veloce. Dopo aver dominato le ultime di libere con condizioni miste, al rientro in pista per stabilire la griglia di partenza López si è imposto sin dai primi giri con la sua Boscoscuro. A pochi minuti dalla fine è rientrato ai box per il cambio gomma posteriore e con un solo giro a disposizione ha c’entrato il colpo facendo sua la pole position argentina ed il record della pista in 1’42.472.

Seconda giornata del Gran Premio di Argentina un po’ in chiaroscuro per Aldeguer. Sebbene il quarto tempo nella terza sessione di libere del mattino in cui ha dimostrato di sapersela cavare bene su pista mista, in qualifica il numero 54 non è riuscito a dimostrare le sue potenzialità chiudendo la prova sedicesimo in 1’43.337. Domani la squadra 54 partirà dalla sesta fila della griglia di partenza.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 1° in 1’42.472

“Ad essere onesto, non me l’aspettavo! Ad inizio qualifica ho avuto qualche problema con la gomma posteriore finché non mi sono detto: “perché non entrare ai box e cambiarla?” e così ho fatto anche se non c’era tutto questo tempo. Al rientro in pista avevo un solo giro a disposizione e devo dire che sono riuscito a sfruttare al meglio la gomma nuova senza commettere errori. Domani ci sarà da divertirsi!”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 16° in 1’43.337

“Non sono del tutto contento oggi perché non abbiamo dimostrato il nostro livello, ma sappiamo dove possiamo migliorare e siamo pronti a mettercela tutta per fare una bella gara. Se riusciamo a sistemare un paio di punti e a sfruttare bene la gomma nuova sicuramente il ritmo sarà migliore e potrò guidare più tranquillo. Domani dobbiamo fare uno step avanti e recuperare più posizioni possibili!”.

 QUALIFYING: LÓPEZ BREAKS TRACK RECORD AND SCORES ARGENTINA POLE

At the Autodromo de Termas de Rio Hondo Alonso López left everyone speechless by scoring pole position on the last lap and breaking the track record. Aldeguer concluded his qualifying with the sixteenth time.

An impeccable Argentinian Saturday for the number 21 of the BETA TOOLS SpeedUp team. For Alonso, a wet or dry track makes no difference because today he proved that he was the fastest in both conditions. After dominating the last free practice with mixed conditions, upon returning to the track to establish the starting grid, López was fast from the first laps with his Boscoscuro bike. A few minutes from the end he returned to the pits to change the rear tire and with only one lap available he took the shot, taking the Argentine pole position and the track record in 1’42.472.

Second day of the Argentine Grand Prix a bit tough for Aldeguer. Although the fourth fastest time in the third free practice in the morning in which he showed that he knows how to get along well on a mixed track, the number 54 was unable to show his potential in qualifying, closing the session sixteenth in 1’43.337. Tomorrow team 54 will start from the sixth row of the starting grid.

“To be honest, I didn’t expect it! At the start of qualifying I had some problems with the rear tire until I said to myself: “Why not go into the pits and change it?” and so I did even though there wasn’t that much time. Back on track, I only had one lap available and I must say that I was able to make the most of the new tire without making any mistakes. Tomorrow will be fun!”.

“I’m not entirely happy today because we didn’t show our level, but we know where we can improve and we’re ready to give it our all to have a good race. If we manage to settle a couple of points and make good use of the new tire, the pace will certainly be better and I will be able to ride more calmly. Tomorrow we have to take a step forward and recover as many positions as possible!”.
