QUALIFICHE: SECONDA E SETTIMA FILA PER IL +EGO SPEEDUP TEAM
Il portacolori del +EGO SpeedUp Team hanno da poco concluso le qualifiche del Gran Premio di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini per determinare la loro posizione di partenza per la gara di domani.
Al Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, Alonso López e Fermín Aldeguer scenderanno domani in griglia di partenza rispettivamente in seconda e settima.
Nonostante la scivolata negli ultimi minuti delle FP3, il numero 21 ha ottenuto l’accesso diretto in Q2 con il decimo tempo in 1’36.489. Dopo i primi giri di qualifica ed il pit-stop ai box, Alonso è rientrato in pista segnando subito un ottimo 1’36.487, portandosi in quinta posizione. Negli ultimi minuti rimanenti, Alonso ha perso il controllo della sua moto cadendo a terra senza gravi conseguenze e annullando così la possibilità di migliorare il suo crono. Sesta posizione a +0.286 dal leader per il madrileno e seconda fila di partenza del Gran Premio San Marinese.
Giornata più complicata per il compagno di box che ha dovuto affrontare le Q1 a causa del quindicesimo tempo della classifica combinata delle prove libere. Anche in qualifica Aldeguer e la sua squadra hanno riscontrato delle difficoltà nel trovare il giro veloce. La mancanza di feeling ha ostacolato il pilota che non è riuscito a passare il turno e con il crono di 1’36.992 partirà domani dalla ventunesima posizione, settima fila della griglia di partenza.

“Sono soddisfatto perché abbiamo fatto un passo in più durante queste qualifiche. Per un errore a fine Q2 ho sfiorato la pole ma con il ritmo che abbiamo possiamo fare una bellissima gara”.
ALDEGUER #54: 21° in 1’36.992
“Non sono contento del risultato di oggi perché non sono riuscito a trovare il giusto feeling con la mia Boscoscuro. Domani partirò in ventunesima posizione però cercherò di rimontare e fare la miglior gara possibile”.
QUALIFYING: SECOND AND SEVENTH ROW FOR THE +EGO SPEEDUP TEAM
The riders of the +EGO Speed Up Team have recently concluded the qualifying for the San Marino Grand Prix to determine their starting position for tomorrow’s race.
At the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, Alonso López and Fermín Aldeguer will take the grid tomorrow in second and seventh positions, respectively.
Despite the crash in the final minutes of FP3, the number 21 gained direct access to Q2 with the tenth time in 1’36.489. After the first qualifying laps and the pit stop, Alonso returned to the track immediately setting an excellent 1’36.487, moving into fifth position. In the last remaining minutes, Alonso lost control of his bike, falling to the ground without serious consequences and thus canceling the possibility of improving his time. Sixth position at +0.286 from the leader for the Madrilenian and second starting row of the San Marinese Grand Prix.
A more complicated day for his teammate who had to face Q1 due to the fifteenth time in the combined free practice standing. Also, in qualifying Aldeguer and his team encountered difficulties in finding the fastest lap. The lack of feeling hindered the rider who was unable to pass the round and with a time of 1’36.992 will start tomorrow from 21st position, seventh row of the grid.

“I’m satisfied because we took a step further during these qualifying sessions. Due to a mistake at the end of Q2 I came close to pole but with the pace we have we can have a great race”.
ALDEGUER #54: 21st in 1’36.992
“I’m not happy with today’s result because I wasn’t able to find the right feeling with my Boscoscuro. Tomorrow I will start in twenty-first position but I will try to recover and do the best race possible.”
