QUINTA E SESTA FILA PER IL CAG SPEEDUP TEAM NELLE QUALIFICHE DEL PORTUGUESE GP

Il CAG SpeedUp Team chiude il sabato portoghese con il quattordicesimo e sedicesimo posto ottenendo la quinta e la sesta fila della griglia di partenza della gara di domani.

Il numero 21 ha iniziato il suo weekend all’Autodromo do Algarve con grande determinazione. Nella FP3 di questa mattina Lopez ha dimostrato la sua abilità conquistando la quarta posizione con un tempo di 1’42.146 aggiudicandosi così l’accesso diretto alle Q2.

Tuttavia, il pomeriggio non è stato altrettanto positivo per il pilota. Durante le qualifiche López, a causa di un errore nella curva tre del circuito, cade e perde l’opportunità di continuare la qualifica. Non riuscendo a tornare in pista, chiude la sessione in quattordicesima posizione in 1’43.144. La gara di domani sarà una grande sfida per Alonso, ma è determinato a fare bene dimostrando quello di cui è capace.

Durante la terza di libere la squadra 54 continua l’ottimo lavoro del venerdì; Fermín dimostra di essere veloce concludendo con un ottimo quinto posto con il crono di 1’42.174 a soli +0.171 dal primo della classifica. Le qualifiche del Portuguese Gp si sono dimostrate più complicate del previsto per Aldeguer che ha lottato con un grip ridotto e un feeling poco soddisfacente sulla sua moto. Il giovane pilota ha chiuso il sabato in sedicesima posizione, con un tempo di 1’43.333. Il murciano è determinato a migliorare durante la gara di domani con l’obbiettivo di portare la sua Boscoscuro in alto.

LÓPEZ #21: 14° in 1’43.144

“Sono un po’ triste perchè sono certo che oggi avrei potuto fare una qualifica migliore, le sensazioni sono ugualmente molto positive sopra alla moto. Domani possiamo fare una bella gara e rimontare di qualche posizione mantenendo il ritmo che abbiamo sempre avuto.”

ALDEGUER #54: 16° in 1’43.333

“Non è la posizione che volevamo però siamo coscienti di cosa abbiamo sbagliato e di cosa è andato storto. Abbiamo un buon ritmo con il pneumatico usato sicché domani abbiamo tutte le carte in tavola per poter rimontare. Domani sarà una bella gara!”

FIFTH AND SIXTH ROW FOR LOPEZ AND ALDEGUER IN QUALIFYING AT THE PORTUGUESE GP

The CAG SpeedUp Team closes the Portuguese Saturday with the fourteenth and sixteenth place getting the fifth and sixth row of the starting grid of tomorrow’s race.

However, the afternoon was not as good for the rider. During qualifying López, due to a mistake in turn three of the circuit, crashed and lost the opportunity to continue. Unable to get back on track, he closed the session in fourteenth position in 1’43.144. Tomorrow’s match will be a big challenge for Alonso, but he is determined to do well by showing what he is capable of.

During the third free practice team 54 continues the excellent work of Friday; Fermín proves to be fast by finishing in an excellent fifth place with a time of 1’42.174, just +0.171 from the leader. Portuguese GP qualifying proved more complicated than expected for Aldeguer who struggled with reduced grip and an unsatisfactory feeling on his bike. The young rider ended Saturday in sixteenth position, with a time of 1’43.333. The Murciano is determined to improve during tomorrow’s race with the aim of taking his Boscoscuro to the top.

“I’m a bit sad because I’m sure I could have done a better qualifying today, the sensations are equally very positive on the bike. Tomorrow we can have a good race and recover a few positions while maintaining the pace we’ve always had.”

ALDEGUER #54: 16th in 1’43.333

“It’s not the position we wanted but we are aware of what we did wrong. We have good feeling with the used tire so tomorrow we have everything we need to do well. Will be a good race!”
