ALDEGUER E FENATI CHIUDONO LE QUALIFICHE DEL GP DI SPAGNA IN SECONDA E NONA FILA
Al circuito de Jerez-Àngel Nieto si è appena conclusa la seconda giornata del Gran Premio de España. Fermin Aldeguer e Romano Fenati hanno concluso le qualifiche spagnole in quinta e ventisettesima posizione e partiranno domani rispettivamente dalla seconda e nona fila della griglia di partenza.
Aldeguer ha concluso le prove libere con il settimo tempo in 1’41.767 a soli +0.211 dal primo ottenendo l’accesso diretto alle Q2. Nelle ultime di libere il numero 54 ha dimostrato d’essere veloce e con ritmo costante come nelle qualifiche. Il primo ad uscire dal box e a dare il via ai 15 minuti delle Q2 è stato proprio il giovane spagnolo che con il tempo di 1’41.620 ha sigillato la quinta posizione nonché seconda fila della gara di domani.
Il sabato spagnolo è invece più complicato per Romano sebbene la crescita nella guida della Boscoscuro in questo weekend spagnolo. Fenati e la sua squadra non sono riusciti a trovare il giro veloce per accedere direttamente alle Q2 dovendo quindi affrontare le Q1. La mancanza di grip al posteriore in qualifica non ha permesso al numero 5 di andare oltre il ventisettesimo tempo (1’42.964), fermandosi alla nona fila della griglia del Gran Premio di Spagna.

“Alla fine sono super contento di com’è andata questa giornata. Le sensazioni sono migliorate moltissimo rispetto a ieri e quindi domani mi sento pronto a concludere questo weekend nel migliore dei modi. Partire davanti è davvero molto importante domani e credo che con il ritmo che abbiamo dimostrato oggi possiamo lottare!”.
ROMANO FENATI #5: 27°
“Purtroppo oggi sono cambiate le condizioni della pista e non ho avuto lo stesso feeling di ieri al posteriore. Abbiamo provato una modifica che però non è andata come speravamo e quindi stiamo cercando di capire come ritrovare le buone sensazioni che avevamo in pista venerdì. Come sempre daremo il nostro massimo in gara puntando a recuperare posizioni sin dalla partenza e con la zona punti come principale obiettivo”.
ALDEGUER AND FENATI CLOSED SPANISH QUALIFYING IN SECOND AND NINTH ROW
The second day of the Spanish Grand Prix has just ended at the Jerez-Àngel Nieto circuit. Fermin Aldeguer and Romano Fenati finished the Spanish qualifying in fifth and twenty-seventh position and will start tomorrow respectively from the second and ninth row of the starting grid.
Aldeguer finished the free practices with the seventh time in 1’41.767 just +0.211 from the first, gaining direct access to Q2. In the FP3, the number 54 proved to be fast and with a constant pace as in qualifying. The first to leave the garage and start the 15 minutes of Q2 was the young Spaniard who with a time of 1’41.620 sealed the fifth position as well as the second row of tomorrow’s race.
On the other hand, the Spanish Saturday was more complicated for Romano, although the growth in driving the Boscoscuro bike during the weekend. Fenati and his team were unable to find the fastest lap to go directly to Q2 and therefore had to face Q1. The lack of grip at the rear in qualifying did not allow the number 5 to go beyond the twenty-seventh time (1’42.964), stopping at the ninth row of the Spanish Grand Prix grid.

“In the end, I’m super happy with how this day went. The sensations have improved a lot compared to yesterday and so tomorrow I feel ready to end this weekend in the best possible way. Starting from the front is really very important tomorrow and I believe that with the pace we have shown today we can fight!”.
ROMANO FENATI #5: 27
“Unfortunately today the track conditions changed and I didn’t have the same feeling as yesterday at the rear. We tried a change but it didn’t go as we hoped and so we’re trying to figure out how to find the good sensations we had on track yesterday. As always, we will give our best in the race aiming to make up positions right from the start and with the points area as the main objective”.
