LÓPEZ CHIUDE LE QUALIFICHE AD UN DECIMO DALLA POLE. ALDEGUER SI FERMA IN Q1

Il team MB Conveyors chiude le qualifiche del Dutch TT con il quinto posto di Alonso López ed il ventesimo di Fermín Aldeguer aggiudicandosi rispettivamente la seconda e settima fila della griglia di partenza del TT Assen circuit.

López, assieme al suo staff, ha portato a termine l’ottimo lavoro di ieri chiudendo le tre sessioni di libere con il decimo tempo in 1’37.508 (+0.393) che ha segnato nelle FP3 del mattino ottenendo così l’accesso diretto alle Q2. Nei quindici minuti a disposizione, il madrileño ha optato per due time attack. Lopez è partito forte già dai primi giri in pista per poi fermarsi in pit-lane per il cambio pneumatico posteriore. Nel secondo time attack Alonso è riuscito a centrare l’obiettivo con un ottimo 1’36.842 a fine prova con il quale si è aggiudicato la quinta posizione e la seconda fila a soli +0.106 dalla pole.

Giornata più complicata per Fermín che nelle ultime di libere del mattino ha migliorato il suo tempo giro ma per soli 0,007 millesimi è stato costretto ad affrontare le Q1. Ad inizio qualifica un problema alla moto ha forzato Aldeguer a rientrare ai box per pochi secondi. Entrato nuovamente in pista, dopo tre giri ha segnato il suo miglior tempo in 1’37.389 che però non è bastato per il passaggio alle qualifiche finali chiudendo il sabato olandese in ventesima posizione.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 20° in 1’37.389

“Ovviamente non sono contento del risultato di oggi. Abbiamo avuto un po’ di sfortuna in Q1 quando la moto si è fermata ad inizio qualifica. Lo pneumatico si è raffreddato e passando per la service road si è un po’ rovinato, così quando sono tornato in pista ho dovuto guidare con più calma e quando ho iniziato a girare più forte la gomma ormai aveva già 2/3 giri e quindi era difficile segnare un buon tempo. Ad ogni modo, abbiamo un buon ritmo e quindi sfrutteremo il warm up di domani per preparare al meglio la nostra rimonta!”.

LÓPEZ CLOSES DUTCH QUALIFYING ONE TENTH FROM THE POLE. ALDEGUER STOPS IN Q1

The MB Conveyors team has closed the Dutch TT qualifying with the fifth place of Alonso López and the twentieth of Fermín Aldeguer, respectively taking the second and seventh row of the starting grid of the TT Assen circuit.

López, together with his staff, completed yesterday’s excellent work by closing the three free practices with the tenth time in 1’37.508 (+0.393) which he scored in the FP3 in the morning, thus obtaining direct access to Q2 . In the fifteen minutes available, the Spanish rider opted for two time attacks. Lopez started strong from the first laps on track and then stopped in the pit lane for the rear tire change. In the second time attack Alonso managed to hit the target with an excellent 1’36.842 at the end of the QP with which he took the fifth position and the second row just +0.106 from pole.

A more complicated day for Fermín who improved his lap time in the last free practice of the morning but was forced to face Q1 by just 0.007. At the start of qualifying a problem with the bike forced Aldeguer to return to the pits for a few seconds. Once back on track, after three laps he set his best time in 1’37.389 which, however, was not enough for the passage to final qualifying, finishing in twentieth position on the Dutch Saturday.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 20^th in 1’37.389

“Obviously I’m not happy with today’s result. We had some bad luck in Q1 when the bike stopped at the start of qualifying. The tire cooled down and passing through the service road it got a little damaged, so when I got back on track I had to drive more calmly and when I started to run harder the tire was already 2/3 laps and so it was difficult to score a good time. In any case, we have a good pace and therefore we will use tomorrow’s warm up to better prepare our comeback!”.
