QUARTA E QUINTA FILA PER LOPEZ E ALDEGUER NELLE QUALIFICHE DEL GRAN PREMIO DI GERMANIA 

I piloti MB Conveyors SpeedUp hanno completato le qualifiche del Gran Premio di Germania disputate quest’oggi al Sachsenring. Lopez e Aldeguer si sono qualificati rispettivamente in p12 e p13 e partiranno domani dalla quarta e quinta fila della griglia di partenza.

Durante il secondo run delle FP3 di questa mattina, Lopez e Aldeguer dopo aver cambiato la gomma posteriore hanno segnato il loro miglior tempo delle tre sessioni di libere dimostrando entrambi continuo progresso. 1’24.132 per Alonso che guadagna l’accesso diretto alle Q2 in p8 a +0.492 decimi dal primo e 1’24.231 (+0.591) per Fermín, anche per lui il passaggio alle Q2 grazie al decimo tempo.

Le qualifiche si sono svolte con temperature molto alte in cui l’usura della gomma è stato il principale tarlo della prova. Entrambi i piloti sono rientrati al box dopo pochi giri per il cambio pneumatico e al loro rientro in pista hanno segnato i loro tempi migliori; Lopez ha chiuso con il dodicesimo tempo in 1’24.314 dichiarando che con pneumatico anteriore diverso avrebbe potuto raggiungere posizioni migliori, mentre Aldeguer ha chiuso alle spalle del suo compagno per un solo millesimo di differenza (1’24.315) malgrado la cancellazione del suo giro più veloce che lo avrebbe portato in terza fila.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 12° in 1’24.314

“Sono abbastanza contento di questa seconda giornata al Sachsenring perché mi son sentito bene con la moto in entrambe le sessioni. Per domani credo che abbiamo trovato la strada giusta da prendere; un errore di scelta di pneumatico in quali ci ha fatto capire come affrontare la gara di domani. In quali avremmo sicuramente potuto fare meglio, ma ad ogni modo siamo molto fiduciosi per la gara di domani!”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 13° in 1’24.315

“Più o meno felice di come si è conclusa questa qualifica. È davvero un peccato non essere riusciti a chiudere il giro perfetto e ancor più la cancellazione del nostro giro più veloce che ci avrebbe portato in settima posizione! Ma ad ogni modo, p13 non è poi così male alla fine e soprattutto il ritmo è buono. Sono abbastanza contento del rendimento della mia moto, continuiamo a lavorare così sfruttando il warm up di domani per essere pronti per la gara”.

FOURTH AND FIFTH ROW FOR LOPEZ AND ALDEGUER IN THE GERMAN QUALIFYING

MB Conveyors SpeedUp riders completed the German Grand Prix qualifying held today at Sachsenring. Lopez and Aldeguer qualified respectively in p12 and p13 and will start tomorrow from the fourth and fifth row of the starting grid.

During the second run of FP3 this morning, Lopez and Aldeguer after changing the rear tire set their best times of the three free practices, both showing continuous progress. 1’24.132 for Alonso who gained direct access to Q2 in p8 at +0.492 tenths from the first and 1’24.231 (+0.591) for Fermín, also for him the passage to Q2 thanks to the tenth time.

The qualifying took place at very high temperatures in which the wear of the rubber was the main issue of the session. Both riders returned to the garage after a few laps for the tire change and on their return to the track they set their best times; Lopez finished with the twelfth time in 1’24.314 stating that with a different front tire he could have reached better positions, while Aldeguer finished behind his teammate by just one thousandth of a difference (1’24.315) despite the cancellation of his faster lap that would take him to the third row.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 12^th in 1’24.314

“I am quite happy with this second day at Sachsenring because I felt good with the bike in both sessions. For tomorrow I think we have found the right path to take; an error in the choice of tire but we understand how to face tomorrow’s race. In QP we certainly could have done better, but in any case, we are very confident for tomorrow’s race!”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 13^th in 1’24.315

“More or less happy with how this qualifying ended. It’s really a shame we didn’t manage to finish the perfect lap and even more so the cancellation of our fastest lap which would have brought us to seventh position! But in any case, p13 is not that bad at the end and especially with a good pace. I am quite happy with the performance of my bike; we continue to work in this way using tomorrow’s warm up for getting ready for the race”.
