QUALIFICHE: SECONDA E SESTA FILA PER MB CONVEYORS SPEEDUP  

I piloti del team MB Conveyors Speed ​​Up sono tornati in azione al circuito di Le Mans per determinare la loro posizione sulla griglia di partenza della gara di domani.

Incredibile prova di Lopez che conferma l’ottima prestazione di ieri chiudendo le qualifiche in sesta posizione, mentre Aldeguer migliora ma termina la giornata in p18 a causa di un problema tecnico durante le Q2.

Nella seconda giornata del Gran Premio di Francia Alonso Lopez ha chiuso le tre prove libere con il decimo tempo in 1’36.539 a +0.678 dal primo. Il numero 21 ha dimostrato d’avere buon ritmo e moltissima determinazione in ogni prova fino a conquistare l’accesso diretto alle Q2 dove ha continuato l’ottimo lavoro iniziato ieri. Seconda e meritatissima fila con il sesto miglior tempo in 1’36.269 (+0.466) per Lopez ed il team MB Conveyors SpeedUp.

Dall’altra parte del box, Aldeguer è riuscito a trovare più stabilità grazie ad una diversa messa a punto della moto che gli ha permesso di migliorare il suo feeling in pista. 1’36.688 il tempo con il quale ha terminato la combinata di libere e per un soffio non ha ottenuto l’accesso diretto alle Q2. Con un ottimo 1’36.278 Fermin ha poi superato le Q1, ma al suo rientro in pista per la qualifica finale è stato fermato da un problema tecnico in frenata che non gli ha permesso di andare oltre la diciottesima posizione.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 6° in 1’36.269

“Molto contento di questa seconda giornata perché abbiamo migliorato molto rispetto a ieri. Nelle FP3 siamo tornati ad avere un ottimo feeling e in qualifica sinceramente non mi aspettavo di andare così forte! Siamo entusiasti del lavoro svolto finora e di aver fatto un gran passo avanti. Restiamo a vedere come sarà il meteo di domani e, in ogni caso, pronti a goderci la gara!”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 18° in 1’37.098

“Step davvero importante da ieri a oggi perché le sensazioni fino a ieri non erano buone ed un cambio di setting ci ha aiutato a migliorare il nostro tempo questa mattina anche se sfortunatamente non ci siamo classificati direttamente in Q2. Abbiamo però affrontato le Q1 con buone aspettative e così è stato. Siamo usciti in pista con molta determinazione migliorando il nostro tempo giro e ottenendo l’accesso alle Q2. Un problema al freno anteriore ci ha poi lasciati senza possibilità di classificarci più avanti di p18. Alla fine sono problemi che possono accadere in un weekend di gara e niente, continuiamo a lavorare per domani!”.

QUALIFYING: SECOND AND SIXTH ROWS FOR MB CONVEYORS SPEEDUP

The MB Conveyors SpeedUp riders returned to action at the Le Mans circuit to determine their position on the starting grid for tomorrow’s race.

Incredible performance by Lopez who confirmed yesterday’s excellent performance by closing qualifying in sixth position, while Aldeguer improved but ended the day in p18 due to a technical problem during Q2.

On the second day of the French Grand Prix, Alonso Lopez closed the three free practice sessions with the tenth time in 1’36.539 to +0.678 from the first. The number 21 proved to have good pace and a lot of determination in each session until he gained direct access to Q2 where he continued the excellent work started yesterday. Second and well-deserved row with the sixth fastest time in 1’36.269 (+0.466) for Lopez and the MB Conveyors SpeedUp team.

“A really important step from yesterday to today because the sensations up until yesterday were not good and a change of setting helped us to improve our time this morning even if unfortunately, we did not qualify directly in Q2. However, we faced Q1 with good expectations and so it was. We went out on track with a lot of determination, improving our lap time and gaining access to Q2. A problem with the front brake then left us with no possibility of ranking ahead of p18. Honestly, these are problems that can happen in a race weekend and nothing, let’s keep working for tomorrow!”.
