FP1/FP2 DEL GRAN PREMIO D’INDONESIA: P7 E P17 PER IL BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP

Introdotto in calendario solo lo scorso anno, il Mandalika International Circuit ha ospitato oggi il quindicesimo round della stagione 2023 dando così il via al Gran Premio d’Indonesia.

I piloti del Beta Tools SpeedUp hanno affrontato le prime due sessioni di libere piazzandosi in P7 (Aldeguer) e P17 (López) della provvisoria classifica combinata.

Ottimo risultato per il numero 54 che durante le FP1 del mattino ha dimostrato grande ritmo e tanta competitività. Con lo sventolare della bandiera rossa a pochi giri dall’inizio, Fermín ha approfittato della sosta ai box per fare un cambio gomme e perfezionare alcuni dettagli della Boscoscuro prima di rientrare in pista. Dopo il secondo run, infatti, il giovane di Murcia si è difeso molto bene in pista terminando la prima prova in P8 con il crono di 1’35.447. Anche nella seconda sessione di libere ha dato il suo meglio concludendo la giornata in 1’34.994, che corrisponde al settimo tempo della classifica combinata.

Dall’altro lato del box, invece, Alonso ha portato a termine una giornata complicata a causa delle cadute subite in entrambe le prove. Il portacolori numero 21 ha infatti chiuso la prima sessione con il diciannovesimo tempo in 1’36.521 e le FP2 in P17, sebbene un abbassamento del crono precedentemente fatto. Per López il venerdì indonesiano si è concluso con il diciassettesimo tempo della classifica provvisoria in 1’35.445.

“Contento con il risultato di oggi perché avevo un buon ritmo e le sensazioni con la Boscoscuro erano ottime. Bisogna migliorare un po’ nel giro veloce ma per domani affronteremo la giornata con la stessa testa prospettiva di oggi”.

LÓPEZ #21: 17° in 1’35.445

“Il primo giorno si è rivelato piuttosto duro. Questo è un circuito in cui possiamo essere veloci e competitivi ma ci manca ancora qualche dettaglio da migliorare per raggiungere l’obbiettivo. Domani affronteremo la giornata con positività perché siamo fiduciosi dei risultati che possiamo ottenere”.

FP1/FP2 OF THE INDONESIAN GP: P7 AND P17 FOR THE BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP

Introduced to the calendar only last year, the Mandalika International Circuit hosted the fifteenth round of the 2023 season today, thus kicking off the Indonesian Grand Prix.

The Beta Tools SpeedUp riders faced the first two free practice sessions placing in P7 (Aldeguer) and P17 (López) of the provisional combined standing.

Excellent result for the number 54 who showed great pace and a lot of competitiveness during the morning’s FP1. With the red flag waved a few laps from the start, Fermín took advantage of the pit stop to change tires and refine some details of the Boscoscuro before returning to the track. In fact, after the second run, the young rider from Murcia defended himself very well on the track, finishing the first session in P8 with a time of 1’35.447. He also gave his best in the second free practice session finishing the day in 1’34.994, which corresponds to the seventh fastest time in the combined classification.

On the other side of the box, however, Alonso completed a tough day due to the crashes he suffered in both sessions. In fact, rider number 21 closed the first session with the nineteenth time in 1’36.521 and FP2 in P17, despite a lowering of the time previously set. For López, the Indonesian Friday ended with the seventeenth time in the provisional standing in 1’35.445.

“The first day turned out to be quite tough. This is a circuit where we can be fast and competitive but we still need some details to improve to reach our goal. Tomorrow we will face the day with positivity because we are confident in the results we can achieve.”
