PROVE LIBERE: LÓPEZ TERZO E ALDEGUER OTTAVO NELLA PRIMA GIORNATA DEL GP DI ARAGONA

Al Motorland de Aragón il team SpeedUp è tornato in pista con CAG Tecnologie Meccaniche e la dedicata livrea blu già utilizzata nei precedenti Gran Premi di Gran Bretagna ed Austria.

I due portacolori CAG SpeedUp si sono fatti notare sin dai primi giri dimostrando velocità e buon ritmo. López ha concluso la prima sessione di libere con il terzo miglior tempo in 1’53.246 a +0.321 dal primo segnato a fine prova. Nel turno del pomeriggio Alonso è riuscito ad abbassare il suo giro veloce in 1’53.011 con due stop al box sfruttati per il cambio gomme ed una piccola modifica al freno motore. Il numero 21 del team ha chiuso la prima giornata del Gran Premio de Aragón in p3 a +0.159.

Inizio positivo anche per Aldeguer; il giovane pilota ha iniziato con il piede giusto il venerdì aragonese prendendosi la quinta posizione delle FP1 con il crono di 1’53.339 a soli +0.474 dalla vetta. Nel pomeriggio la squadra 54 ha lavorato sulla messa a punto della moto senza migliorare il tempo del mattino chiudendo la prima giornata con l’ottava posizione della classifica combinata provvisoria delle prove libere.

“Contento di questa prima giornata! La terza posizione ci carica, soprattutto se penso che nel mio giro veloce ho avuto un problema con un altro pilota e che abbiamo girato con la dura senza provare la gomma morbida con la quale avremmo sicuramente abbassato il tempo! Domani lavoreremo sui dettagli preparandoci ad affrontare al meglio le qulifiche”.

“Più o meno contento di questa prima giornata. Non siamo riusciti a concludere la seconda sessione con un giro veloce perché non avevo il giusto feeling con la parte anteriore della mia moto. Ma ad ogni modo restiamo con il positivo di oggi perché siamo veloci e se continuiamo a lavorare bene, soprattutto in alcune parti del circuito, possiamo fare bene. Son finalmente tornato a divertirmi sopra la mia moto, che è la cosa più importante, e ora non ci resta che lavorare!”.

FREE PRACTICES: LÓPEZ THIRD AND ALDEGUER EIGHTH IN THE FIRST DAY OF THE ARAGON GP

At the Motorland de Aragón the SpeedUp team is back on track with CAG Tecnologie Meccaniche and the dedicated blue livery already used in the previous British and Austrian Grand Prix.

CAG SpeedUp riders stood out from the first laps showing speed and good pace. López finished the first free practice session with the third fastest time in 1’53.246 to +0.321 from the first, scored at the end of the practice. In the afternoon, Alonso managed to lower his fastest lap to 1’53.011 with two stops used for tire changes and a small change to the engine brake. The number 21 of the team closed the first day of the Gran Premio de Aragón in p3 with a gap of +0.159.

Positive start also for Aldeguer; the young rider started off on the right foot on the Aragonese Friday, taking fifth position in FP1 with a time of 1’53.339 just +0.474 from the top. In the afternoon, team 54 worked on the bike setting without improving the morning time and closing the first day with the eighth position of the provisional combined free practice classification.

“Happy with this first day! The third position thrilled us, especially if I think that on my fastest lap I had a problem with another rider and that we lapped on the hard without trying the soft tire with which we would have definitely lowered the time! Tomorrow we will work on the details, preparing to face the qualifying in the best possible way”.

“More or less happy with this first day. We weren’t able to finish the second session with a fast lap because I didn’t have the right feeling with the front of my bike. But in any case, we remain with today’s positive because we are fast and if we continue to work well, especially in some parts of the circuit, we can do well. I’m finally back to have fun on my bike, which is the most important thing, and now we just have to work!”.
