QUALIFICHE AMERICAS GP: ALDEGUER BATTE IL SUO RECORD E SFIORA LA POLE, MENTRE LÓPEZ SI ASSICURA LA TERZA FILA
Al Circuit of the Americas, i portacolori del Beta Tools SpeedUp hanno da poco concluso il sabato di qualifiche del GP delle Americhe conquistando la prima (Aldeguer) e la terza (López) fila di partenza per la gara di domani.
Il giovane Aldeguer si è distinto durante le FP2 demolendo il record segnato ieri e conquistando il primo tempo in 2’07.543. Nonostante le avverse condizioni del vento durante la Q2 e nessuno stop ai box per il cambio gomme, Aldeguer ha mancato la pole position per soli +0.109 di distanza da Canet. Con il crono di 2’07.740, il numero 54 si è aggiudicato per la seconda volta consecutiva la prima fila di partenza.
Anche López ha concluso una solida sessione di libere con il sesto posto in 2’07.900. Una volta in qualifica, il madrileno ha sfoderato il suo miglior tempo all’ultimo giro della prova chiudendo la giornata con l’ottavo posto in 2’08.063. Domani il pilota numero 21 cercherà di portare la sua Boscoscuro a podio partendo dalla terza linea della griglia.

“Siamo contenti di com’è andata la qualifica. Ho sbagliato spesso nel quarto settore e non sono riuscito a fare un giro perfetto anche a causa del vento. Nonostante ciò siamo molto soddisfatti del secondo posto e domani affronteremo la gara giro dopo giro”.

“Oggi potevamo dare di più. Ci sono stati dei piccoli problemini ma sappiamo in cosa abbiamo sbagliamo e miglioreremo per arrivare al top in gara. Nel frattempo ringrazio tutta la mia squadra per il lavoro che sta facendo”.
AMERICAS GP QUALIFYING: ALDEGUER BEATS HIS RECORD AND COMES CLOSE TO THE POLE, WHILE LÓPEZ SECURES THE THIRD ROW
At the Circuit of the Americas, Beta Tools SpeedUp riders have recently concluded Saturday’s qualifying session for the GP of the Americas, securing the first (Aldeguer) and third (López) positions on the starting grid for tomorrow’s race.
The young talent Aldeguer distinguished himself during FP2, shattering yesterday’s record and setting the fastest time at 2’07.543. Despite challenging wind conditions during Q2 and opting not to make pit stops for tyre changes, Aldeguer narrowly missed pole position by just +0.109 behind Canet. With a time of 2’07.740, the number 54 rider clinched the front row starting position for the second consecutive time.
López also delivered a strong performance during free practice, securing sixth place with a time of 2’07.900. In the qualifying session, the Madrilenian showcased his best time on the final lap of the session, finishing the day in eighth place with a time of 2’08.063. Tomorrow, driver number 21 will aim to pilot his Boscoscuro to the podium, starting from the third row of the grid.

“We are happy with how qualifying went. I often made mistakes in the fourth sector and I wasn’t able to do a perfect lap also due to the wind. Despite this, we are very satisfied with second place and tomorrow we will face the race lap after lap”.
