ALDEGUER E FENATI CONCLUDONO I TEST UFFICIALI MOTO2 IN PORTOGALLO

 I piloti MB Conveyors SpeedUp hanno concluso questo pomeriggio l’ultima sessione dei test prestagionali all’Autodromo Internazionale do Algarve, che quest’anno ospiterà il primo evento MotoGP in Europa a fine aprile.

Reduci da altre due giornate di test privati a Jerez de la Frontera, Fermín e Romano hanno affrontato tre giorni di intenso lavoro sul circuito portoghese lavorando entrambi sulla messa a punto delle loro Boscoscuro B-22 in vista campionato.

Alla fine dei tre giorni Aldeguer ha compiuto un totale di 124 giri ottenendo il quinto miglior tempo in 1’42.115 segnato nell’ultima giornata di prove. Lo spagnolo si è dichiarato alquanto soddisfatto del lavoro svolto in questi giorni con la squadra e pronto per l’inizio della stagione 2022 del Campionato Mondiale Moto2.

Obiettivi diversi per la new entry Romano Fenati, che ha sfruttato i test prestagionali per conoscere più a fondo la moto senza focalizzarsi sul giro veloce. Crescita costante e veloce apprendimento sono il bilancio positivo di questi test per Romano che ha chiuso i tre giorni con 138 giri in ventiquattresima posizione con il tempo di 1’43.505.

I piloti del team MB Conveyors SpeedUp torneranno in pista dal 4 al 6 marzo per disputare il Gran Premio del Campionato Mondiale Moto2 2022 sul Losail International Circuit di Doha in Qatar.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 5° in 1’42.115 – 124 giri

“Dopo cinque giorni di test, due a Jerez e tre a Portimão, abbiamo migliorato la moto sotto molti aspetti anche grazie alle novità Boscoscuro 2022. C’è ancora molto da lavorare, ma le sensazioni sono davvero buone. Giorno dopo giorno abbiamo provato diverse modifiche, soprattutto all’anteriore che è il nostro punto più debole, e siamo riusciti a trovare la strada giusta. Mi dispiace per la caduta durante la seconda sessione del terzo giorno, perché stavamo concludendo il nostro giro più veloce, ma ad ogni modo le sensazioni sono molto positive e ci sentiamo pronti per la prima gara in Qatar!”

ROMANO FENATI #5: 24° in 1’43.505 – 138 giri

“Conclusi i test prestagionali in cui abbiamo lavorato molto sul setup della moto e soprattutto sulla posizione di guida. Qui a Portimão non abbiamo girato veloci come volevamo, ma siamo contenti del lavoro svolto perché anche con gli errori siamo riusciti a progredire. Tra pochi giorni inizia una nuova stagione del Campionato Mondiale, la mia undicesima, e sono davvero felice di tornare a gareggiare in Moto2”.

ALDEGUER AND FENATI CONCLUDE OFFICIAL MOTO2 TEST IN PORTUGAL

The MB Conveyors SpeedUp riders concluded the last session of the pre-season tests this afternoon at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, which this year will host the first MotoGP event in Europe at the end of April.

Coming back from two more days of private testing in Jerez de la Frontera, Fermín and Romano faced three days of intense work on the Portuguese circuit, both working on the set-up of their Boscoscuro B-22 bikes.

At the end of the three days Aldeguer completed a total of 124 laps, taking the fifth fastest time in 1’42.115 scored on the last day of testing. The Spaniard declared himself quite satisfied with the work done in these days with the team and ready for the start of the 2022 season of the Moto2 World Championship.

Different goals for the new entry Romano Fenati, who took advantage of the pre-season tests to get to know the bike better without focusing on the fastest lap. Constant growth and fast learning are the positive balance of these tests for Romano who closed the three days with 138 laps in twenty-fourth position with a time of 1’43.505.

The MB Conveyors SpeedUp riders will be back on track from 4^th to 6^th March to compete in the Grand Prix of the 2022 Moto2 World Championship at the Losail International Circuit in Doha in Qatar.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 5^th in 1’42.115 – 124 laps

“After five days of testing, two in Jerez and three in Portimão, we have improved the bike in many aspects also thanks to the new Boscoscuro 2022. There is still a lot of work to be done, but the sensations are really good. Day after day we tried different changes, especially on the front which is our weakest point, and we managed to find the right path. I’m sorry for the crash during the second session of the third day, because we were finishing our fastest lap, but in any case the sensations are very positive and we feel ready for the first race in Qatar!”

ROMANO FENATI #5: 24^th in 1’43.505 – 138 laps

“After the pre-season tests in which we worked a lot on the setup of the bike and above all on the riding position. Here in Portimão we didn’t lap as fast as we wanted, but we are happy with the work done because even with the mistakes we were able to progress. A new season of the World Championship begins in a few days, my eleventh, and I am really happy to be back racing in Moto2”.
