FP1/FP2: P3 E P11 PER ALDEGUER E LÓPEZ NELLA PRIMA GIORNATA DEL THAI GP
Il Beta Tools SpeedUp è tornato in pista quest’oggi al Chang International Circuit di Buriram, teatro del diciassettesimo appuntamento della stagione e ultima tappa della prima tripla del 2023.
Per Aldeguer e López la prima giornata di libere del Thai GP si è conclusa rispettivamente in P3 e P11 della classifica combinata.
Inarrestabile Fermín che in entrambe le sessioni ha dimostrato molta fiducia e determinazione in sella alla sua Boscoscuro. Con la gomma dura in FP1, il giovane di Murcia ha dato del filo da torcere agli altri piloti partiti con la mescola morbida schiacciando il secondo miglior tempo in 1’36.354, a soli +0.088 da Acosta. Buono il feeling anche nelle libere del pomeriggio dove il numero 54 ha lavorato molto sulla frenata e sulle linee finendo terzo della combinata grazie al crono di 1’36.005.
Mattinata un po’ più in salita per il numero 21 che dopo un pit-stop ai box ha concluso la sessione in P16 con il crono di 1’36.919 (+0.653). Alonso ha migliorato poi durante le FP2 concludendo con l’undicesimo tempo in 1’36.606.
ALDEGUER #54: 3° in 1’36.005
“È una pista complicata per noi ma, anche oggi, abbiamo dimostrato grande sicurezza e molto feeling con la Boscoscuro. Mi ci è voluto un po’ per fare il time attack rapido con la gomma dura però domani daremo il 100% per conquistare la prima fila”.
LÓPEZ #21: 11° in 1’36.606
“Oggi avremmo potuto dimostrare di più però ci siamo concentrati maggiormente su alcuni dettagli che dovevano essere perfezionati. Tutto sommato sono contento con il lavoro di oggi perché credo che abbiamo una linea ben definita da seguire. Domani faremo sicuramente meglio”.

The Beta Tools SpeedUp returned to the track today at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, scene of the seventeenth round of the season and last round of the first triple of 2023.
For Aldeguer and López the first day of free practice at the Thai GP ended in P3 and P11 respectively in the combined standings.
Fermín showed a lot of confidence and determination on his Boscoscuro in both sessions. With the hard tire in FP1, the young man from Murcia gave the other riders a hard time by setting the second-best time in 1’36.354, just +0.088 behind Acosta. Even in the second free practice the feeling was good and the number 54 worked a lot on braking and lines, finishing third in the combined thanks to a time of 1’36.005.
A slightly more uphill morning for the number 21 who, after a pit stop, concluded the session in P16 with a time of 1’36.919 (+0.653). Alonso then improved during FP2, finishing with the eleventh time in 1’36.606.

“It’s a complicated track for us but, even today, we showed great confidence and a lot of feeling with the Boscoscuro. It took me a while to do the quick time attack with the hard tire but tomorrow we will give 100% to conquer the front row”.

“Today we could have showed more but we focused on some details that needed to be perfected. All in all, I’m happy with today’s work because I believe we have a well-defined line to follow. Tomorrow we will definitely do better.”
