GARA GP PORTOGALLO: ALDEGUER AD UN PASSO DAL PODIO DOPO DUE LONG LAP, MENTRE LÓPEZ SUBISCE UNA CADUTA 

All’Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, il Beta Tools SpeedUp Team ha da poco concluso la seconda gara della stagione dopo 21 giri di pura suspense. López, dopo una caduta in curva 13, ha chiuso in P25, mentre Aldeguer è quarto dopo due long lap penalty.

Per il numero 21, la gara è iniziata all’attacco del suo compagno di box che lo ha visto conquistare la testa della corsa dopo poche curve. Purtroppo però, Alonso ha mollato il comando all’undicesimo giro a causa di una caduta, compromettendo le sue possibilità di vittoria. Tuttavia, il pilota di Madrid ha continuato a lottare, tagliando la linea del traguardo al venticinquesimo posto.

Aldeguer ha dimostrato oggi di aver un gran potenziale e tanta determinazione. Dopo la bagarre con López per la prima piazza, la commissione gara ha comunicato al giovane di Murcia i due long lap penalty per partenza anticipata. Dopo averli scontati entrambi, Fermín si è trovato in P13 e da qui è iniziata la sua strepitosa rimonta. Grazie ad un passo impressionante, il numero 54 è riuscito a rifilare quasi un secondo al giro a chi gli dava le spalle fino a varcare la linea della fine ad un passo dal podio. Inoltre, all’undicesimo giro, Aldeguer ha stabilito un nuovo record per il giro più veloce in gara, rimasto imbattuto dal 2020.

Entrambe le squadre si preparano ora per la seconda gara fuori Europa. Vi aspettiamo per il terzo appuntamento ad Austin, in Texas,  il 12/13/14 aprile. 

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 4° 

“Torno a casa con un sapore dolce amaro perché oggi avevamo un ritmo e una velocità tali da vincere la gara a mani basse. Sono comunque soddisfatto del risultato perché abbiamo fatto una grande rimonta dopo i due long lap. Inoltre, il feeling in sella alla Boscoscuro era ottimo, tant’è che ho sentito le stesse sensazioni che ho provato nelle ultime quattro gare della stagione scorsa”.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 25°

“Oggi ho voluto strafare. Ho visto che stavo iniziando a perdere rispetto a Canet e ho voluto spingere al massimo, per questo sono scivolato. Adesso continueremo a lavorare e ci concentreremo nel fare del nostro meglio ad Austin, che è un circuito che mi incanta”.

PORTUGUESE GP RACE: ALDEGUER ONE STEP FROM THE PODIUM AFTER TWO LONG LAPS, WHILE LÓPEZ SUFFERS A FALL

At the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, Beta Tools SpeedUp Team recently concluded the second race of the season after 21 laps of pure suspense. López, after a fall in turn 13, finished in P25, while Aldeguer was fourth after two long lap penalties.

For the number 21, the race began by attacking his teammate who saw him take the lead after a few corners. Unfortunately, however, Alonso gave up the lead on the eleventh lap due to a fall, compromising his chances of victory. However, the Madrilenian rider continued to fight, crossing the finish line in 25th place.

Aldeguer showed today that he has a lot of potential and a lot of determination. After the tussle with López for first place, the race commission notified the young man from Murcia of the two long lap penalties for a jump start. After having served both of them, Fermín found himself in P12 and from here his amazing comeback began. Thanks to an impressive pace, the number 54 managed to gain almost a second per lap from those with his back to him until he crossed the finish line one step away from the podium. Furthermore, on lap 11, Aldeguer set a new record for the fastest lap in the race, which has remained unbeaten since 2020.

Both teams are now preparing for their second overseas race. Looking forward to the third appointment in Austin, Texas, on April 12/13/14.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 4th

“I leave today’s race with a bittersweet feeling. We had the pace and speed to win decisively, but unfortunately, due to the two long laps, we faced setbacks. Nevertheless, I’m content with the result as we staged an impressive comeback. The handling of the Boscoscuro was exceptional, reminiscent of the sensations I experienced in the last four races of the previous season”.

Today I wanted to push myself to the limit. I noticed that I was beginning to fall behind Canet, so I decided to push harder than ever. Unfortunately, this led to a crash. Now, we’ll regroup and focus on giving our best in Austin, a circuit that I find enchanting”.
