GT TREVISAN SPEEDUP
IL BUDDH INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT OSPITA IL GRAN PREMIO DELL’ INDIA PER LA PRIMA VOLTA NELLA STORIA DEL MOTOMONDIALE
Il Buddh International Circuit ha aperto le porte quest’oggi al primo Gran Premio dell’India segnando infatti una data importante nel Campionato del Motomondiale.
Ma le novità non sono finite qua perché il Team SpeedUp è approdato in India vestendo in esclusiva i colori di GT Trevisan, azienda fondata nel 1963 che dalla passione per le macchine utensili hanno creato la loro professione.
Per i piloti del GT Trevisan SpeedUp il nuovo tracciato si è presentato sin da subito divertente da affrontare ma allo stesso tempo molto insidioso. Infatti, al termine della prima giornata di libere, Alonso López e Fermín Aldeguer si sono piazzati rispettivamente in P16 e P23 della classifica combinata.
La prima sessione di libere durata ben ’55 minuti, ha permesso ad Alonso e la sua squadra di provare diverse configurazioni nella Boscoscuro in modo da raggiungere maggior confidenza in un circuito del tutto nuovo. Il numero 21 si è infatti fermato più volte ai box per lavorare sulla messa a punto della moto. P14 a fine prima prova con il crono di 1’54.124.
Per il pilota madrileno il pomeriggio è stato più faticoso. Nonostante la scivolata a metà della seconda prova, il numero 21 ha continuato le libere cercando progressivamente di trovare il giusto ritmo. P16 della classifica combinata con il crono di 1’52.986.
Anche per Fermín e la sua squadra la prima sessione di libere è servita principalmente per testare la pista attraverso piccoli cambiamenti della sua Boscoscuro ad ogni pit stop. Per il portacolori numero 54, la mattinata si è conclusa tra alti e bassi con il ventitreesimo tempo in 1’54.805 mantenendo la stessa posizione anche a fine giornata con il crono di 1’53.602.

“Le prove di oggi sarebbero potute andare meglio ma ci sono servite per provare diverse varianti. Grazie alle sessioni di oggi, domani affronteremo il nuovo circuito con le idee molto più chiare”.

“Oggi non è andata molto bene ma ovviamente è più complicato in una pista nuova in cui non abbiamo esperienza. Dobbiamo continuare a lavorare per trovare la soluzione migliore”.
THE BUDDH INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT HOSTS THE INDIA GRAND PRIX FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY OF THE MOTORBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Buddh International Circuit opened its doors today to the first Indian Grand Prix, marking an important date in the World Motorcycle Championship.
But the news doesn’t end there because Team SpeedUp has landed in India exclusively wearing the colors of GT Trevisan, a company founded in 1963 which created their profession from their passion for machine tools.
For the GT Trevisan SpeedUp riders, the new track was immediately fun to tackle but at the same time very treacherous. In fact, at the end of the first day of free practice, Alonso López and Fermín Aldeguer placed themselves in P16 and P23 respectively in the combined classification.
The first free practice session, which lasted 55 minutes, allowed Alonso and his team to try different configurations in Boscoscuro in order to gain greater confidence in a completely new circuit. In fact, the number 21 stopped in the pits several times to work on setting up the bike. P14 at the end of the first test with a time of 1’54.124.
For the Madrilean rider the afternoon was more difficult. Despite the crash halfway through the second test, the number 21 continued free practice, progressively trying to find the right rhythm. P16 in the combined ranking with a time of 1’52.986.
Even for Fermín and his team the first free practice session was mainly used to test the track through small changes to his Boscoscuro at each pit stop. For the number 54 rider, the morning ended with ups and downs with the twenty-third time in 1’54.805, maintaining the same position at the end of the day in 1’53.602.
