GARA: GRAN PREMIO DI STIRIA COMPLICATO PER IL LIGHTECH SPEEDUP TEAM

Un weekend davvero complicato che non ha concesso molto al LighTech SpeedUp team che lascia il Red Bull Ring senza infamia e senza lode.

Jorge Navarro termina la sua gara con il ventesimo posto dopo un intero weekend in salita. I primi miglioramenti si sono visti proprio negli ultimi giri di gara quando pare aver trovato più stabilità e buon ritmo. E sarà proprio da quei dati che Jorge ripartirà il prossimo weekend, al Gran Premio di Austria, con i suoi tecnici.

Il ritorno in pista di Montella, dopo mesi di assenza, è stato proprio su un circuito a lui sconosciuto. Si sapeva sarebbe stato quindi più complicato per Yari, ma fortunatamente ci sarà una seconda gara sullo stesso tracciato che pilota e team affronteranno diversamente con più informazioni a loro disposizione. Il rookie del team termina il Gran Premio di Styria con il ventiquattresimo piazzamento.

JORGE NAVARRO #9: 20^°

“È stato un fine settimana davvero complicato perché non siamo mai riusciti a trovare le giuste sensazioni per alzare il ritmo e avere più stabilità sopra la moto. Questa mattina abbiamo rivoluzionato la moto nel warm up, sebbene i pochi giri fatti a causa della pioggia, il feeling iniziava a migliorare. Abbiamo poi cambiato nuovamente il setting per la gara, dato che la pista si stava asciugando. I primi giri sono stati i più difficili, perdevo tempo alla curva 3. Verso fine gara eravamo molto più veloci, tanto da fare il settimo giro più rapido. Questo vuol dire che stiamo lavorando nel verso giusto. Quindi non ci resta che pensare già al prossimo weekend qui al Red Bull Ring”.

YARI MONTELLA #5: 24^°

“Giornata né positiva né negativa, mi sono trovato in una situazione che già mi aspettavo. Speravo in qualcosa di meglio, ma non è stato. L’importante ora è rimanere concentrati per la prossima gara. Ci manca trovare più fiducia nella guida, appena trovata riusciremo a fare risultati migliori”.

RACE: TOUGH GRAND PRIX OF STYRIA FOR LIGHTECH SPEEDUP

A really complicated weekend that didn’t give much to the LighTech SpeedUp team that leaves the Red Bull Ring without guts and without glory.

Jorge Navarro ended his race in twentieth place after a tough weekend. The first improvements were seen in the last laps of the race when it seems to have found more stability and good pace. And it will be precisely from those data that Jorge will restart next weekend, at the Austrian Grand Prix, with his technicians.

The return to the track of Montella, after months of absence, was precisely on a circuit unknown to him. It was known that it would have been more complicated for Yari, but fortunately there will be a second race on the same track that rider and team will face differently with more information at their disposal. The team rookie finished the Styrian Grand Prix with the 24^th place.

“It was a really complicated weekend because we never managed to find the right sensations to pick up the pace and have more stability on the bike. This morning we revolutionized the bike in the warm up, although the few laps made due to the rain, the feeling started to improve. We then changed the setting again for the race as the track was drying out. The first laps were the most difficult, I was losing time in turn 3. Towards the end of the race we were much faster, so much so that we had the fastest seventh lap time. This means that we are working in the right direction. So we just have to think about next weekend here at the Red Bull Ring”.

YARI MONTELLA # 5: 24^th

“Neither a positive nor a negative day, I found myself in a situation that I already expected. I was hoping for something better, but it wasn’t. The important thing now is to stay focused for the next race. We need to find more confidence in driving, as soon as we find it we will be able to achieve better results”.
