MB CONVEYORS SPEED UP

GARA: GRAN PREMIO DEL QATAR POSITIVO PER FENATI E ALDEGUER   

Buona la prima per Fenati e Aldeguer! Un weekend positivo per i due portacolori del team MB Conveyors SpeedUp che concludono la gara al Losail International Circuit rispettivamente in quindicesima e sedicesima posizione.

Una grande rimonta quella di Romano Fenati che dopo l’inizio del weekend in salita è riuscito a raggiungere l’obiettivo punti prefissato. Il quindicesimo posto conquistato dopo essere scattato dalla 26° casella sulla griglia di partenza è un risultato di spessore che manifesta i progressi raggiunti da Romano fino ad oggi grazie anche alla sua esperienza in gara.

Gara più complicata per Aldeguer che ha dovuto evitare un contatto con un altro pilota alla prima curva appena dopo la partenza ritrovandosi tra le ultime posizioni. Il numero 54 ha poi iniziato a recuperare posizioni, sebbene le sensazioni in pista non fossero le stesse riscontrate durante il weekend, e ha tagliato il traguardo in p16. Un bilancio comunque molto positivo per il giovane spagnolo che al suo primo Gran Premio del Qatar ha dimostrato competitività e determinazione.

ROMANO FENATI #5: 15°

“Sono molto contento della gara. Sono riuscito ad andare forte e ad avere un bel passo nonostante il weekend non sia partito bene. Non abbiamo mollato, abbiamo lavorato e alla fine abbiamo trovato la migliore soluzione per la gara. Già nel warm up di questa mattina avevamo fatto un passo avanti, e poi per la gara abbiamo aggiunto qualche dettaglio che è stato fondamentale. Sono davvero contento del lavoro che abbiamo fatto, e di aver dato il massimo in gara. In Indonesia ripartiremo dal buon lavoro svolto in questo weekend, c’è ancora molto da lavorare ma abbiamo trovato il punto dal quale partire!”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 16^°

“Non è stata la gara che speravamo. Ho fatto una buona partenza ma poi un pilota mi ha ostacolato nella mia prima curva e mi sono ritrovato nelle ultime posizioni. Da lì ho dovuto rimontare, ma non è stato facile. Purtroppo abbiamo sbagliato la scelta dello pneumatico, e recuperare è stato difficile. Ad ogni modo dobbiamo prendere il positivo da questo weekend. In tutte le condizioni sono stato veloce e quindi già pensiamo alla prossima gara in Indonesia!”.

MB CONVEYORS SPEED UP

RACE: POSITIVE GRAND PRIX OF QATAR FOR FENATI AND ALDEGUER

A positive weekend for the two MB Conveyors SpeedUp riders who finished the race at the Losail International Circuit in fifteenth and sixteenth position respectively.

A great comeback for Romano Fenati who, after the start of a tough weekend, managed to reach the target points set. The fifteenth place taken after starting from the 26^th position on the starting grid is a really good result that shows the progress achieved by Romano up to now thanks to his work with the team and his experience in the race.

More complicated race for Aldeguer who had to avoid a contact with another rider at the first corner just after the start, finding himself in the last positions. The number 54 then started to make up positions, although the sensations on the track were not the same as during the weekend, and he crossed the line in p16. However, a very positive result for the young Spaniard who showed competitiveness and determination at his first Grand Prix in Qatar.

ROMANO FENATI #5: 15^th

“I am very happy with the race. I was able to go fast and have a good pace despite the weekend not starting well. We didn’t give up, we worked and, in the end, we found the best solution for the race. Already in this morning’s warm up we had made a step forward, and then for the race we added some details that were fundamental. I am really happy with the work we did, and that I gave my best in the race. In Indonesia we will restart from the good work we did this weekend, there is still a lot of work to be done but we have found the point from which to start!”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 16^th

“It wasn’t the race we were hoping for. I made a good start but then a rider got in my way in my first corner and I found myself in the last positions. From there I had to recover, but it wasn’t easy. Unfortunately, we made a mistake in choosing the tire, and recovering was difficult. In any case, we have to take the positive from this weekend. In all conditions I was fast and therefore we are already thinking about the next race in Indonesia!”.
