GP QATAR_PROVE LIBERE: ALDEGUER E FENATI AL LAVORO

La prima giornata di prove libere del primo Gran Premio del Campionato Mondiale Moto2 2022 è appena giunta al termine.

Le FP1 si sono svolte sotto un sole acceso con la temperatura dell’asfalto che toccava i 42°. Nella seconda sessione invece la temperatura è scesa a 28° cambiando le condizioni della pista.

Aldeguer, al suo primo incontro con il tracciato di Losail, ha dimostrato grande abilità di apprendimento finendo il primo turno in p4 con il crono di 2’00.683 a +0.393 dal primo. Nella sessione seguente, la squadra 54 ha sofferto un po’ l’abbassamento delle temperature ma ha continuato a lavorare bene in vista della gara senza dare troppa importanza al giro veloce. P15 a fine giornata per Fermín in 2’00.186.

Dall’altra parte del box MB Conveyors SpeedUp, Fenati ed il suo staff hanno lavorato in entrambi i turni sulla messa a punto e sulla guida della Boscoscuro qui al circuito di Losail. 2’01.649 è il tempo delle FP1 a +1.359 dalla testa della classifica. Nel secondo turno Romano migliora il tempo di oltre sette decimi e chiude la prima giornata in 2’00.920 in p23.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 15^° in 2’00.186

“Le sensazioni di oggi sono abbastanza buone, peccato che nelle FP2 non siamo riusciti a trovare il giro veloce per svariati motivi. Ad ogni modo, mi trovo molto bene con la moto e con la squadra stiamo lavorando molto bene. E niente, domani sarà un giorno migliore, siamo pronti per continuare a lottare”.

ROMANO FENATI #5: 23^° in 2’00.920

“Sono abbastanza contento del primo giorno, abbiamo lavorato facendo qualche modifica al setting della moto. Verso la fine delle seconde prove libere siamo riusciti a trovare un set up che mi piace. Continueremo il lavoro domani nelle ultime libere cercando di raggiungere il meglio per qualifiche e gara. Sarà importante trovare un buon ritmo per dare il massimo in gara”.

GP QATAR_FREE PRACTICES: ALDEGUER AND FENATI AT WORK

The first day of free practices of the first Grand Prix of the 2022 Moto2 World Championship has just come to an end.

FP1 took place under a bright sun with the asphalt temperature reaching 42°. In the second session, however, the temperature dropped to 28°, changing the conditions of the track.

Aldeguer, in his first encounter with the Losail track, showed great learning ability by finishing the first round in p4 with a time of 2’00.683 to +0.393 from the first. In the following session, team 54 suffered a little from the drop in temperatures but continued to work well ahead of the race without giving too much importance to the fastest lap. P15 at the end of the day for Fermín in 2’00.186.

Across the MB Conveyors SpeedUp box, Fenati and his staff worked in both rounds on setting up and driving the Boscoscuro bike here at the Losail circuit. 2’01.649 is the time of FP1 at +1.359 from the top of the standings. In the second round Romano improved his time by over seven tenths and closed the first day with 2’00.920 in p23.

“Today’s sensations are quite good, it’s a pity that in FP2 we weren’t able to find the fastest lap for various reasons. In any case, I feel very good with the bike and we are working very well with the team. And nothing, tomorrow will be a better day, we are ready to continue fighting”.

“I’m quite happy with the first day, we worked on making some changes to the bike setting. Towards the end of the second free practice we managed to find a set up that I like. We will continue our work tomorrow in the last free practice session, trying to reach the best for qualifying and the race. It will be important to find a good pace to give it all in the race”.
