QUALIFICHE COMPLICATE PER I PILOTI LIGHTECH SPEED UP AL GRAN PREMIO DEL PORTOGALLO

I piloti del Lightech Speed ​​Up team sono tornati in azione all’Autodromo Internacional do Algarve per determinare la loro posizione sulla griglia di partenza di domani.

La giornata inizia bene per la squadra 5 che chiude le tre prove di libere al dodicesimo posto aggiudicandosi l’accesso diretto alle Q2. Il rookie Montella conferma le buone sensazioni del venerdì e si prepara ad affrontare le sue prime Q2. Al rientro in pista, le condizioni sono cambiate ed il feeling con la moto non è lo stesso del mattino per Yari che ce la mette tutta ma fatica a trovare un giro veloce e chiude la qualifica in p18.

Giornata più complicata per Navarro che a fine prove libere non riesce a prendersi il passaggio diretto alla Q2.

Purtroppo la sua qualifica finisce in anticipo con una brutta caduta al secondo giro dove resta fortunatamente illeso. Al rientro ai box, il poco tempo a disposizione non è bastato per rientrare in pista e migliorare il tempo dovendo così accettare la decima fila nella griglia di partenza.

YARI MONTELLA #5: 18°

“Oggi giornata dolceamara. Questa mattina siamo stati abbastanza veloci e anche il mio feeling con la moto sta migliorando e di questo sono soddisfatto. Stiamo lavorando bene, cercando di cambiare il mio stile di guida adattandomi il più possibile a questa moto. In qualifica invece abbiamo trovato condizioni diverse e non siamo riusciti ad adattarci. La gara è domani, speriamo di trovare di nuovo il feeling di questa mattina perché penso possiamo fare una bella gara!”.

JORGE NAVARRO #9: 30°

“Questa mattina ci è scappata la Q2 per poco. Le sensazioni erano migliori di ieri come il ritmo. In Q1 ho subito un high-side al secondo giro. Stiamo analizzando bene i dati a livelli di messa a punto e di pilotaggio per capire dove possiamo migliorare. Domani partiamo ultimi, ma credo potrà essere una giornata costruttiva che ci darà input per migliorare le nelle prossime gare”.

“I’m happy with this first day. We started off on the right foot and immediately understood where to focus our work on both my riding style and the setting of the bike. I suffered a bit from the lack of grip in the morning session, but already in FP2 the feeling was better. Slowly I am adapting more and more to driving the Boscoscuro, there is still a lot of work to do but today we are satisfied with the work done and the result obtained!”.

“This morning we missed Q2 for a while. The sensations were better than yesterday as was the rhythm. In Q1 I suffered a high-side on the second lap. We are analyzing the data at the set up of the bike and driving levels well to understand where we can improve. Tomorrow we start last, but I think it can be a constructive day that will give us input to improve in the next races”.
