+EGO SPEED UP
QUALIFICHE: TERZA FILA PER NAVARRO E NONA PER LOPEZ AL TT ASSEN CIRCUIT
Il +EGO Speed Up team chiude le qualifiche del Dutch TT con il settimo posto di Jorge Navarro ed il ventisettesimo di Alonso Lopez aggiudicandosi rispettivamente terza e nona fila della griglia di partenza del tracciato olandese.
Navarro assieme al suo staff ha portato a termine l’ottimo lavoro di ieri chiudendo le tre sessioni di libere con il quarto miglior tempo in 1’36.838 (+0.327) che ha segnato nelle FP3 del mattino ottenendo così l’accesso diretto alle Q2. Nei quindici minuti a disposizione, il valenciano ha optato per due time attack. Dopo aver fatto un ottimo giro in 1’36.816 ed essersi posizionato tra i primi ad inizio QP, Jorge è rientrato al box per il cambio gomme. Il secondo time attack però non ha portato i risultati sperati perché la caduta nel giro più veloce ha trascinato la squadra nove in terza fila.
Giornata più impegnativa ma con esito positivo quella di Lopez. Alonso ha chiuso le prove libere con il ventesimo tempo in 1’37.762 posizionandosi a +1.251 dal primo. Fuori dai primi 14, il madrileno ha dovuto quindi affrontare le Q1. Purtroppo per soli due decimi il numero due del +EGO SpeedUp team manca le qualifiche finali qualificandosi al ventisettesimo posto.
JORGE NAVARRO #9: 7° in 1’36.816
“Giornata positiva! Buon feeling con la moto e bei tempi già nelle FP3 di questa mattina! Nel pomeriggio, in qualifica, credo d’aver sofferto un po’ la mancanza di grip dovuto all’aumento della temperatura. Dobbiamo analizzare i dati per capirne meglio la causa perché mi è costato un po’ troppo trovare il giro veloce. Ad ogni modo, la posizione di partenza è buona come lo è il ritmo e quindi abbiamo tutte le carte per fare una buona gara!”.
ALONSO LOPEZ #2: 27° in 1’37.299
“Sono molto contento perché oggi il feeling con la moto è migliorato molto e mi sento più competitivo. Oggi ci sono mancati appena due decimi per stare in Q2 e poter lottare con i migliori. Stiamo crescendo, il passo di oggi era buono e di questo siamo soddisfatti. Siamo pronti quindi a lottare e a dare il 100% in gara domani. QUALIFYING: THIRD ROW FOR NAVARRO AND NINTH FOR LOPEZ AT TT ASSEN CIRCUIT
The + EGO Speed Up team closed QP day of Dutch TT with the seventh place of Jorge Navarro and the twenty-seventh place of Alonso Lopez, taking respectively the third and ninth row of the starting grid of the Dutch track.
Navarro and his staff completed yesterday’s excellent work by closing the three free practice sessions with the fourth best time in 1’36.838 (+0.327) which he scored in FP3 in the morning, thus gaining direct access to Q2. In the fifteen minutes available, the Valencian opted for two time attacks. After having made an excellent lap in 1’36.816 and having positioned himself among the first at the start of QP, Jorge returned to the garage to change tires. The second time attack, however, did not bring the aimed results because the crash in the fastest lap dragged team nine to the third row.
Demanding day but with a positive outcome for Lopez. Alonso closed the free practices with the twentieth time in 1’37.762, positioning himself at +1.251 from the first. Out of the top 14, Lopez therefore had to face Q1. Unfortunately for only two tenths the number two of the + EGO SpeedUp team missed the final Q2, qualifying in twenty-seventh place.

“Positive day! Good feeling with the bike and good lap times already in FP3 this morning! In qualifying, I struggled to find grip in the rear probably due to the increase in temperature. We need to analyze the data to better understand why, because it cost me a bit too much to find the fastest lap. In any case, the starting position is good as is the pace and therefore we have all the potential to race the best!”.

“I am very happy because today the feeling with the bike has improved a lot and I feel more competitive. We were just two tenths away to stay in Q2 and be able to fight with the best.
