+EGO SPEED UP

PROVE LIBERE: NAVARRO QUARTO, LOPEZ VENTESIMO NEL GRAN PREMIO D’OLANDA

La prima giornata di prove libere del Gran Premio d’Olanda, in programma questo weekend al leggendario TT Assen circuit, ha visto Jorge Navarro ottenere il quarto tempo, mentre Alonso Lopez ha terminato le due sessioni ventesimo.

Nelle FP1 del mattino il numero nove del +EGO SpeedUp ha dimostrato d’essere veloce sin dalla prima uscita in pista. Jorge ed il suo team hanno pianificato due run per la prima sessione totalizzando in totale 20 giri e hanno ottenuto il quarto miglior tempo a fine sessione in 1’37.269. Le FP2 sono iniziate sotto la pioggia ma a causa di un problema tecnico Jorge è dovuto rientrare ai box dopo pochi giri.

Inizio di weekend positivo per Alonso Lopez, sostituto per questo gran premio dell’infortunato Yari Montella.

Il madrileno ha concluso il venerdì olandese con il ventesimo tempo in 1’38.104 ottenuto durante le FP1. Alonso ha affrontato poi per la prima volta le FP2 sul bagnato con la Boscoscuro B-21 chiudendo la prova con il diciassettesimo tempo.

JORGE NAVARRO #9: 4^° in 1’37.269

“La giornata è iniziata bene. Questa mattina il feeling con la mia Boscoscuro era buono, abbiamo lavorato bene nella prima sessione terminando con il quarto tempo. Nel pomeriggio, in condizioni bagnate abbiamo avuto un problema tecnico alla moto a causa del quale non abbiamo potuto girare molto. Il feeling sul bagnato non era granché, ma abbiamo avuto troppo poco tempo a disposizione per testare la moto. Se domani piove approfitteremo della terza sessione di libere per adattarci alle condizioni. Ad ogni modo, sono soddisfatto di questo primo giorno!”.

ALONSO LOPEZ #2: 20° in 1’38.104

“Sono abbastanza contento di questo primo giorno perché abbiamo migliorato molto da Barcellona! Purtroppo hanno cancellato il giro migliore per aver toccato il verde, altrimenti saremmo stati dentro la Q2. Con la pioggia è stato più complicato del previsto perché non sono abituato a guidare sul bagnato con questa moto, ma dopo qualche giro già mi sentivo meglio e sono riuscito a migliorarmi. Domani dobbiamo sicuramente fare di più e dare il 100% in qualifica”.

FREE PRACTICES: NAVARRO FOURTH, LOPEZ TWENTIETH IN THE DUTCH GRAND PRIX

The first day of free practices of the Dutch Grand Prix, scheduled for this weekend at the legendary TT Assen circuit, saw Jorge Navarro set fourth, while Alonso Lopez finished the two sessions in twentieth.

In FP1 in the morning, the number nine of the + EGO SpeedUp team proved to be fast right from the first outing on track. Jorge and his team planned two runs for the first session with a total of 20 laps done and took the fourth fastest time at the end of the session in 1’37.269. FP2 started in the rain but due to a technical problem Jorge had to return to the +EGO SpeedUp garage after a few laps.

A positive start to the weekend for Alonso Lopez, substitute for the injured Yari Montella for this grand prix.

The Madrilenian finished the Dutch Friday with the twentieth time in 1’38.104 obtained during FP1. Alonso then faced FP2 in the wet for the first time with the Boscoscuro B-21, closing the session with the seventeenth time.

JORGE NAVARRO # 9: 4^th in 1’37.269

“The day started well. This morning the feeling with my Boscoscuro bike was good, we worked well in the first session and finished with the fourth fastest time. In the afternoon, in wet conditions, we had a technical problem with the bike which caused us not to be able to ride a lot. The wet feeling wasn’t great, but we had too little time to test the bike. If it rains tomorrow, we will take advantage of the third free practice session to adapt to the conditions. In any case, I am satisfied with this first day!”.

ALONSO LOPEZ # 2: 20^th in 1’38.104

“I am quite happy with this first day because we have improved a lot from Barcelona! Unfortunately, they cancelled the best lap for hitting the green, otherwise we would have been in Q2. In the rain it was more complicated than expected because I’m not used to riding in the wet with this bike, but after a few laps I already felt better and managed to improve. Tomorrow we must certainly do more and give 100% in qualifying”.
