QUALIFICHE: PRIMA E SESTA FILA PER IL LIGHTECH SPEEDUP NEL GRAN PREMIO DELLA GRAN BRETAGNA

Jorge Navarro chiude le qualifiche del Gran Premio della Gran Bretagna con il secondo miglior tempo aggiudicandosi la prima fila della griglia di partenza. Inizierà la gara dalla sesta fila, in onda eccezionalmente alle 15.30, ora italiana, Fermín Aldeguer qualificatosi con il sedicesimo tempo.

Navarro ha chiuso le tre prove di libere con il secondo tempo in 2’04.549 in cui si è fatto notare per il ritmo veloce e competitivo in ogni sessione e con il quale ha ottenuto l’accesso diretto alle Q2.

In qualifica il numero nove del LighTech SpeedUp team è riuscita a trovare due ottimi giri dopo il cambio gomma effettuato a metà prova e con il giro migliore in 2’04.061 Jorge ha confermato la prima fila.

Oggi il giovane Fermín ha superato ogni aspettativa conquistando l’accesso alle Q2 con il quattordicesimo tempo delle combinate in 2’05.377 ottenuto nelle FP3 di questa mattina. Non al massimo della sua forma fisica, Aldeguer ha chiuso le sue prime qualifiche sul circuito di Silverstone in p16 con il crono di 2’05.504 e domani partirà dalla sesta fila.

JORGE NAVARRO #9: 2^° in 2’04.061

“Un’altra giornata molto positiva. Questa mattina abbiamo continuato il buono lavoro di ieri con qualche piccolo dettaglio in più alla messa a punto in previsione gara provando il ritmo ma non il time attack. In QP abbiamo usato due gomme: con la prima non sono riuscito a fare un buon giro, con la seconda invece abbiamo lavorato bene, forse ci è mancato qualcosa per il giro perfetto, ma credo che p2 sia una gran posizione. Siamo pronti a lottare!”

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 16° in 2’05.504

“Oggi abbiamo raggiunto il nostro primo obiettivo e cioè quello di passare direttamente alle Q2! Sono molto contento di come sta andando il Gran Premio della Gran Bretagna, non siamo al 100% ma domani daremo il massimo. Non vedo l’ora che arrivi domani!!”.
