PROVE LIBERE: NONO E DECIMO POSTO PER NAVARRO E ALDEGUER NELLA PRIMA GIORNATA DEL GRAN PREMIO DE ARAGÓN

Al Motorland Aragón è iniziato quest’oggi il tredicesimo appuntamento del Campionato Mondiale Moto2 2021.

Una giornata di duro lavoro per le squadre del +EGO Speed Up team, entrambe in cerca di continuità in questo weekend in terra spagnola.

Nono nella combinata di prove libere, Jorge Navarro ha dimostrato velocità e buon ritmo sin dai primi giri in pista. Il valenciano ha chiuso le FP1 con il miglior tempo in 1’53.100 lasciando il n.2 a quasi mezzo secondo. Nella sessione del pomeriggio Jorge ed i suoi tecnici hanno lavorato sul ritmo gara con gomme usate ottenendo buoni risultati e confermando le sensazioni positive del mattino.

Fermín e la sua squadra hanno iniziato il Gran Premio di Aragón nel migliore dei modi. La sessione del mattino termina in P15 con il crono di 1’54.197 (+1.097), mentre nel pomeriggio Aldeguer ha spiazzato tutti con il tempo ottenuto a fine FP2 1’53.201, a +0.458 dal primo, chiudendo il venerdì spagnolo al decimo posto.

JORGE NAVARRO #9: 9^° in 1’53.100

“Primo giorno molto positivo qui in Aragona. Nelle FP1 siamo partiti subito molto veloci, ed il primo tempo finale è stato anche grazie alla gomma morbida montata a fine prova. Nelle FP2 volevamo vedere com’era il ritmo con gomma posteriore usata e la verità è che il ritmo era buono e costante. Abbiamo qualche dettaglio da migliorare ma siamo soddisfatti di questo primo giorno”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 10° in 1’53.201

“Sono super contento di questo venerdì al MotorLand! Abbiamo iniziato con un ottimo risultato chiudendo in top 10 le prime due prove libere a meno di mezzo secondo dal primo. Davvero tutto incredibile!  Non vedo l’ora arrivi domani per continuare ad imparare, dare tutto in pista e provare a stare il più avanti possibile in classifica!”.

FREE PRACTICES: NINTH AND TENTH PLACE FOR NAVARRO AND ALDEGUER IN THE FIRST DAY OF THE GRAN PREMIO DE ARAGÓN

The thirteenth round of the 2021 Moto2 World Championship has begun today at Motorland Aragón.

A day of hard work for the +EGO Speed ​​Up team, both riders looking for continuity this weekend in Spain.

Ninth in the combined free practices, Jorge Navarro showed speed and good pace from the first laps on track. The Valencian finished FP1 with the best time of 1’53.100, leaving the n.2 at almost half a second. In the afternoon session Jorge and his technicians worked on the race pace with used tires, obtaining good results and confirming the positive sensations of the morning.

Fermín and his team started the Aragón Grand Prix in the best possible way. The morning session ended in P15 with a time of 1’54.197 (+1.097), while in the afternoon Aldeguer stunned everyone with the time obtained at the end of FP2 1’53.201, +0.458 from the first, closing the Spanish Friday in tenth place.

“Very positive first day here in Aragon. In FP1 we immediately started very fast, and the final first time was also thanks to the soft tire mounted at the end of the session. In FP2 we wanted to see what the pace was like with a used rear tire and the truth is that the pace was good and constant. We have some details to improve but we are satisfied with this first day”.

“I’m super happy with this Friday at MotorLand! We started with an excellent result, finishing the first two free practices in the top 10 less than half a second from the first. Really all amazing! I’m looking forward to tomorrow to continue learning, give everything on track and try to stay as far ahead in the standings as possible!”.
