PROVE LIBERE: INIZIO POSITIVO PER I PILOTI +EGO SPEEDUP NEL GRAN PREMIO DI GERMANIA
È iniziato oggi il Gran Premio di Germania, ottavo appuntamento del Campionato Mondiale Moto2.
SpeedUp Racing cambia nome e livrea in questo weekend in terra tedesca e scende in pista con i colori di +EGO, prestigioso brand del Gruppo Sifar da anni al fianco del team veneto.
Giornata impegnativa ma positiva per entrambe le squadre in cui tecnici e piloti hanno lavorato assieme per trovare la giusta messa a punto delle loro Boscoscuro.
Tredicesimo posto per Jorge Navarro che inizia bene la prima delle libere (p8 in 1’25.390 a +0.517), ma fatica di più nel turno del pomeriggio anche a causa delle altissime ed insolite temperature in terra tedesca. Jorge termina la prima giornata in p13 con il crono di 1’25.162.
Al suo primo gran premio al Sachsenring, Aldeguer stupisce ancora, non tanto per la posizione a fine giornata ma per la grande capacità di apprendimento e di adattamento che il giovane spagnolo dimostra ad ogni uscita in questo tracciato molto tecnico caratterizzato da molteplici saliscendi e curve strette. Ventunesima piazza per Fermín nelle FP1 in 1’25.917, mentre nel secondo turno a causa di una caduta il chiude le combinate del venerdì in p27 in 1’25.906.

“Temperature davvero molto alte in questo primo giorno, condizioni che mai abbiamo visto qui in Germania. Questa mattina abbiamo iniziato abbastanza bene, solo qualche problema che speravamo di risolvere nel turno del pomeriggio, ma che al rientro in pista non è andata come pensavamo perché il feeling era peggiorato. Domani dobbiamo lavorare bene per cercare di sistemare la messa a punto della moto in vista qualifiche!”
FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 27° in 1’25.906
“Primo giorno un po’ complicato, è una pista nuova per me. Nella prima prova mi sentivo abbastanza bene, ma nel pomeriggio abbiamo fatto una modifica alla moto che ha peggiorato le mie sensazioni e con la caduta non sono più riuscito ad abbassare il tempo. In ogni caso contento di questa prima giornata, domani si lavora!”.
FREE PRACTICES: POSITIVE START FOR + EGO SPEEDUP RIDERS IN THE GP OF GERMANY
The German Grand Prix has started today, the eighth round of the Moto2 World Championship.
SpeedUp Racing changed its name and livery for this weekend in Germany and starts this weekend representing the colours of + EGO, the prestigious brand of the Sifar Group for years alongside the Italian team.
Challenging but positive day for both teams in which technicians and riders worked together to find the right set-up for their Boscoscuro bikes.
Thirteenth place for Jorge Navarro who started the first free practice well (p8 in 1’25.390 to +0.517), but struggled more in the afternoon session also due to the extremely high and unusual temperatures in Germany. Jorge ended the first day in p13 with a time of 1’25.162.
At his first grand prix at the Sachsenring, Aldeguer still amazes, not so much for the position at the end of the day but for the great ability to learn and adapt to the bike that the young Spaniard demonstrates at every exit on this very technical track characterized by multiple ups and downs and tight turns. Twenty-first place for Fermín in FP1 in 1’25.917, while in the second round due to a crash he closed Friday’s FP in p27 in 1’25.906.

“Very high temperatures in this first day, conditions we have never seen here in Germany. This morning we started quite well, only a few problems that we hoped to solve in the afternoon session, but that didn’t go as we thought when we got back on track because the feeling had worsened. Tomorrow we have to work well to try to fix the set-up of the bike in view of qualifying!”

“First day a bit complicated, it’s a new track for me. In the first session I felt pretty good, but in the afternoon, we made a change to the bike that didn’t help us with the feeling and after the crash I was no longer able to lower the time. In any case, happy with this first day, let’s keep working!”.
