QUALIFICHE: SESTA E UNDICESIMA FILA PER NAVARRO E LOPEZ NEL GRAN PREMIO DI FRANCIA

I piloti del team MB Conveyors Speed ​​Up sono tornati in azione al circuito di Le Mans per determinare la loro posizione sulla griglia di partenza della gara di domani.

Sesta fila per Navarro che termina in anticipo le sue qualifiche a causa di una caduta ad inizio prova. Un’occasione sprecata per la squadra nove che aveva concluso le FP3 del mattino con il secondo tempo dimostrando d’essere competitivi anche su pista in condizioni miste. A pochi minuti dall’inizio della QP il team ha deciso di cambiare gomme ed assetto della moto dopo l’inizio della pioggia intermittente. Jorge al primo giro aveva già dimostrato d’essere veloce, ma un piccolo errore su una pista in condizioni davvero difficili ha compromesso la sua prova.

Il sostituto dell’infortunato Montella, Alonso Lopez, al primo incontro con la Boscoscuro B-21, ha affrontato la sua prima giornata del campionato mondiale in classe Moto2 con dedizione ed entusiasmo. Lopez ha potuto fare pochi giri in pista prima delle qualifiche in una giornata in cui le condizioni del tracciato sono cambiate continuamente e partirà domani dall’undicesima fila.

JORGE NAVARRO #9: 18^°

“Giornata dolceamara. Questa mattina, sebbene le condizioni difficili della pista, abbiamo fatto un buon lavoro, mi sono sentito bene e fiducioso per le qualifiche. Poco prima di iniziare le QP ha cominciato a piovere, sapevo d’essere competitivo anche su pista bagnata e quindi sono uscito abbastanza deciso. Probabilmente ho avuto troppa fretta perché dopo pochi giri ho commesso un errore che mi è costato la qualifica. Oggi è andata così, ma la gara è domani e credo che domani possa essere un gran giorno per noi”.

ALONSO LOPEZ #2: 31°

“Mi è piaciuto molto questo primo giorno in Le Mans, soprattutto per la nuova esperienza con questa squadra e con questa moto! A dire il vero è stato un primo giorno in pista un po’ complicato a causa delle condizioni meteo instabili. A fine giornata però posso dire di aver appreso molto e domani che sia quel che sia, io cercherò di dare il massimo apprendendo il più possibile”.

QUALIFYING: SIXTH AND ELEVENTH ROW FOR NAVARRO AND LOPEZ IN THE FRENCH GRAND PRIX

A few minutes before the start of the QP, the team decided to change tires and set-up of the bike after the onset of intermittent rain. Jorge had already proved to be fast on the first lap, but a small mistake on a track in really difficult conditions compromised his performance.

The replacement for the injured Montella, Alonso Lopez, in his first encounter with the Boscoscuro B-21, faced his first day of the world championship in the Moto2 class with dedication and enthusiasm. Lopez was able to do a few laps on track before qualifying on a day in which the track conditions have changed continuously and will start tomorrow from the eleventh row.

“Bittersweet day. This morning, despite the difficult track conditions, we did a good job, I felt good and confident for qualifying. Just before starting the QP it started to rain, I knew I was competitive even on a wet track and so I went out pretty determined. I was probably in too much of a hurry because after a few laps I made a mistake that cost me qualifying. That’s the way it went today, but the race is tomorrow and I think tomorrow can be a great day for us”.

ALONSO LOPEZ #2: 31^st

“I really enjoyed this first day in Le Mans, especially for the new experience with this team and with this bike! To tell the truth, it was a somewhat complicated first day on the track due to the unstable weather conditions. At the end of the day, however, I can say that I have learned a lot and tomorrow, be it what it will, I will try to give my best by learning as much as possible”.
