PROVE LIBERE: MB CONVEYORS SPEEDUP AL LAVORO NEL VENERDÌ CATALANO

Si è aperto con le due sessioni di prove libere del venerdì il weekend della Moto2 sul circuito catalano di Barcellona, settimo appuntamento del Campionato Mondiale.

Al termine della prima giornata Jorge Navarro e Alonso Lopez si sono classificati rispettivamente con il quindicesimo ed il trentesimo tempo.

Decimo tempo per Jorge nelle FP1 del mattino, firmato a fine prova in 1’44.437. Nella seconda sessione del Gran Premio de Catalunya Navarro prova qualche modifica al setting della sua Boscoscuro ma cade nel suo giro più veloce alla curva 7 a pochi minuti dalla fine della sessione. Il suo crono migliore resta quindi quello del mattino che gli vale la quindicesima posizione della classifica combinata.

A sostituire l’infortunato Montella è ancora una volta il giovane Lopez. Alle prese con una moto diversa da quella guidata nel Campionato Europeo Moto2, Alonso ha dimostrato buona capacità di adattamento migliorando giro dopo giro. Chiude la giornata in p30 con il crono di 1’45.298 a +1.611 dal primo.

JORGE NAVARRO #9: 15^° in 1’44.437

“Primo giorno molto strano perché siamo usciti con la moto del test, in cui avevamo raggiunto ottimi progressi, ma non c’è stato modo di fare i tempi che ci aspettavamo. Stiamo lavorando sul set-up, ma in nessuna delle uscite di oggi mi son trovato bene. All’ultima uscita, con gomma nuova, ero più veloce ma nella curva 7 son caduto perdendo l’anteriore nell’entrata. Dobbiamo analizzare i dati perché non capisco quanto accaduto. Continueremo a lavorare e spero domani sarà una giornata migliore di oggi!”.

ALONSO LOPEZ #2: 30° in 1’45.513

“Sono abbastanza contento perché piano piano sto capendo sempre di più questa moto che è completamente diversa dalla Boscoscuro che guido al CEV. Stiamo lavorando bene, con qualche miglioramento già a fine di questa prima giornata. Sto cercando di approfittare il più possibile di questa opportunità che mi è stata data. Domani proveremo qualche modifica in più al setting per cercare di avere un feeling migliore. Voglio ringraziare Luca per tutto questo, mañana más!”.

“I am quite happy because I am gradually understanding more and more this bike which is completely different from the Boscoscuro that I am riding at the CEV.
