QUALIFICHE: QUINTA E DECIMA FILA PER IL LIGHTECH SPEED UP TEAM
I piloti del LighTech Speed Up team sono tornati in azione al Red Bull Ring di Spielberg per determinare la loro posizione sulla griglia di partenza di domani.
Piccolo step in avanti per Jorge durante la terza sessione di libere del mattino in cui segna il nono tempo della sessione e della combinata delle libere in 1’28.729 con un gap di +0.576 dal primo. La nona posizione permette a Navarro di accedere direttamente alle Q2. Il feeling in qualifica non è lo stesso del mattino, ma lo spagnolo riesce a trovare un buon giro ad inizio prova con il quale si qualifica in p14. Quinta fila quindi per Jorge Navarro nella griglia di partenza della gara di domani.
Diverse prove son state eseguite da Yari ed i suoi tecnici per capire come risolvere la difficoltà riscontrate, ma i progressi raggiunti non hanno portato ad una buona qualifica. Decima fila per squadra5 in p28.
JORGE NAVARRO #9: 14° in 1’29.380
“Oggi è stato un giorno abbastanza positivo. Questa mattina siamo riusciti a trovare delle modifiche che mi hanno dato più stabilità sopra la moto e grazie alle quali sono riuscito a migliorare il mio giro veloce. Questo pomeriggio il feeling era diverso per le temperature più alte e purtroppo non sono riuscito a chiudere un buon giro. Siamo tutti molto vicini con i tempi, son certo che domani sarà una gara molto competitiva!”
YARI MONTELLA #5: 28° in 1’29.671
“Giornata né positiva né negativa. Stiamo cercando di trovare la soluzione che mi permetta di guidare al meglio perché ancora non abbiamo il feeling per poter competere. Abbiamo fatto un piccolo passo avanti dalla scorsa settimana, ma come siamo migliorati noi sono migliorati anche gli altri e quindi non basta, dobbiamo fare di più”.
QUALIFYING: FIFTH AND TENTH ROW FOR THE LIGHTECH SPEED UP TEAM
Today the LighTech Speed Up riders went back to action at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg to determine their position on tomorrow’s starting grid.
Small step forward for Jorge during the third free practice in the morning in which he took the ninth time of the session and of the combined free practices in 1’28.729 with a gap of +0.576 from the first. The ninth position allowed Navarro to go directly to Q2. The feeling in qualifying was not the same as in the morning, but the Spaniard managed to find a good lap at the beginning of the QP with which he qualified in p14. Fifth row therefore for Jorge Navarro on the starting grid of tomorrow’s race.
Several changes were carried out by Yari and his technicians to understand how to solve the difficulties encountered, but the progress achieved did not lead to a good qualifying. Tenth row for team5 in p28.

“Today was a pretty good day. This morning we were able to find some changes that gave me more stability on the bike and thanks to which I was able to improve my fastest lap. This afternoon the feeling was different for the higher temperatures and unfortunately I was unable to finish a good lap. We are all very close, I am sure that tomorrow will be a very competitive race, can’t wait to it!”

“Neither good nor bad day. We are trying to find the solution that allows me to ride better because we still don’t have the feeling to be able to compete. We have made a small step forward since last week, but as we have improved the others have also improved and therefore it is not enough, we have to do more”.
