QUALIFICHE ARAGÓNGP: TERZA E SESTA FILA PER IL +EGO SPEEDUP TEAM

I piloti del +EGO SpeedUp team Jorge Navarro e Fermín Aldeguer chiudono le qualifiche al MotorLand Aragón rispettivamente con il settimo e diciassettesimo tempo.

Nella terza sessione di libere entrambe le squadre hanno svolto un ottimo lavoro. P4 per Navarro nella classifica delle libere con il crono di 1’52.193 e un gap di +0.334 e p11 per il giovane Aldeguer con un incredibile 1’52.597, ottenendo entrambi l’accesso diretto alle Q2.

Nei quindici minuti a disposizione per determinare la griglia di partenza della gara del Gran Premio de Aragón, Navarro non è riuscito a chiudere il suo giro più veloce e con il tempo di 1’52.197, segnato ad inizio qualifica, si è guadagnato la terza fila.

Qualifica un po’ sfortunata per squadra 54 che non è riuscita a girare con gli stessi tempi del mattino. Un po’ di traffico in pista nel momento sbagliato e le gomme che in pochi giri hanno perso d’efficienza hanno determinato la sesta, ma comunque buona, fila di Fermín in 1’52.947.

JORGE NAVARRO #9: 7^° in 1’52.197

“Giornata positiva! Questa mattina abbiamo chiuso le Fp3 con un buon tempo, poi in qualifica stavo per segnare un ottimo tempo ma ho commesso un errore all’ultima curva andando troppo lungo. Con queste gomme, dopo due-tre giri il rendimento cala molto e così non ho potuto migliorare il tempo. Il ritmo e le sensazioni sono buoni, vedremo domani nel warm up se saremo capaci di sistemare qualche dettaglio pre gara”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 17° in 1’52.947

“Sono un po’ deluso per come sono andate le qualifiche, meritavamo di stare più avanti. La nostra posizione era nei primi dieci, dove siamo stati per tutto il fine settimana. Forse abbiamo sbagliato tattica rimanendo poi senza possibilità di abbassare il crono. Ad ogni modo, ci sentiamo pronti per la gara di domani e non vediamo l’ora!”.

QUALIFYING ARAGÓNGP: THIRD AND SIXTH ROW FOR THE +EGO SPEEDUP TEAM

+EGO SpeedUp riders Jorge Navarro and Fermín Aldeguer closed qualifying session at MotorLand Aragón with the seventh and seventeenth time respectively.

In the third free practice session both teams did an excellent job. P4 for Navarro in the free practice standings with a time of 1’52.193 and a gap of +0.334 and p11 for the young Aldeguer with an incredible 1’52.597, both gaining direct access to Q2.

In the fifteen minutes available to determine the starting grid for the Grand Prix de Aragón race, Navarro was unable to finish his fastest lap and with a time of 1’52.197, set at the start of qualifying, he earned the third row.

A bit unfortunate qualifying for team 54 which did not manage to run with the same times as in the morning. A little traffic on track at the wrong time and the tires that lost efficiency in a few laps resulted in Fermín’s sixth row in 1’52.947.

“Positive day! This morning we closed the Fp3 with a good time, then in qualifying I was about to set a very good time but I made a mistake in the last corner by going too long. With these tires, after two or three laps the performance drops a lot and so I couldn’t improve the time. The pace and the sensations are good, we’ll see tomorrow in the warm up if we are able to fix some pre-race details”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 17^th in 1’52.947

“I’m a bit disappointed with how qualifying went, we deserved to stay ahead. Our position was in the top ten, where we stayed all weekend. Perhaps we made a mistake in tactics and then remained without the possibility of lowering the time. In any case, we feel ready for tomorrow’s race and we are looking forward to it!”.
