PROVE LIBERE: NAVARRO FERMATO DA PROBLEMI ELETTRICI. ALDEGUER AL COTA PER LA PRIMA VOLTA
La Moto2 è finalmente riapprodata sul circuito delle Americhe (COTA) di Austin, in Texas dove si sono appena disputate le prove libere del venerdì.
Inizio in salita per Jorge Navarro ed il suo team che hanno riscontrato dei problemi elettrici in entrambe le sessioni di libere. Il numero nove ha effettuato pochissimi giri ad inizio FP1 ed FP2 senza poter portare a termine entrambe le prove. Chiude la prima giornata con la venticinquesima posizione, posticipando tutto il lavoro pre-qualifica nell’ultima di libere di domani mattina.
Il giovane Aldeguer ha iniziato bene la sua prima giornata sul circuito delle Americhe dimostrando un buon feeling sul bagnato nelle prove del mattino, mentre su pista asciutta sono state riscontrate qualche difficoltà in più. P24 a fine della prima giornata per la squadra 54 con il tempo di 2’11.983 a +2.103 dal primo.
JORGE NAVARRO #9: 25° in 2’12.085
“Un primo giorno complicato perché abbiamo avuto dei problemi tecnici che non c’hanno permesso di fare più di due giri per sessione. Ad ogni modo, domani è un altro giorno e noi dobbiamo rimanere positivi”.
FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 24° in 2’11.983
“Quella di Austin è una pista abbastanza complicata nella quale non avevamo mai girato prima d’ora. Questa mattina avevamo un ottimo feeling sul bagnato, ma poi nel pomeriggio, quando abbiamo girato su pista asciutta, il feeling con la moto è cambiato. Abbiamo ancora molto da imparare su questo circuito ovviamente, ma siamo abbastanza contenti di questa prima giornata”.

Moto2 is finally back on the circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas where free practices has just been held on Friday.
Tough start for Jorge Navarro and his squad who encountered electrical problems in both free practice sessions. The number nine made very few laps at the beginning of FP1 and FP2 without being able to complete both sessions. He closed the first day with the twenty-fifth position, postponing all the pre-qualifying work in the last free practice tomorrow morning.
The young Aldeguer started his first day well on the circuit of the Americas showing a good feeling in the wet in the morning practice, while on the dry track some more difficulties were encountered. P24 at the end of the first day for team 54 with a time of 2’11.983 to +2.103 from the first.

“A complicated first day because we had some technical problems that didn’t allow us to do more than two laps per session. Anyway, tomorrow is another day and we have to stay positive”.
FERMÍN ALDEGUER # 54: 24th in 2’11.983
“Austin is a fairly complicated track that we have never ridden before. This morning we had a great feeling in the wet, but then in the afternoon, when we ran on a dry track, the feeling with the bike changed. We still have a lot to learn on this circuit of course, but we are quite happy with this first day”.
