TERMOZETA SPEEDUP IN RIMONTA: NAVARRO SETTIMO E ALDEGUER SEDICESIMO AL TRAGUARDO
Il Termozeta Speedup team conclude il Gran Premio di Algarve, penultimo appuntamento della stagione, in settima e sedicesima posizione.
Un weekend positivo e solido per Navarro che ha dimostrato d’essere veloce e competitivo in tutte le prove confermandosi con il settimo posto in gara. Partenza e primi giri più complicati in cui il numero nove ha perso cinque posizioni. Buon ritmo, tanta determinazione e la scelta giusta del pneumatico hanno permesso a Jorge di rimontare fino a p7 chiudendo, ancora una volta, un solido weekend.
Le difficoltà riscontrate da Aldeguer durante il weekend sono state ripagate con l’incredibile rimonta nella gara di oggi in cui la squadra 54 ha tagliato il traguardo ad un soffio dalla zona punti. Fermín, ventottesimo in griglia, è riuscito a raggiungere p16 con tenacia ed un passo gara da veri big nella sua prima gara del mondiale Moto2 all’Autodromo Internacional do Algarve.
JORGE NAVARRO #9: 7°
“Gara complicata perché la partenza e i primi tre giri non sono stati facili. Ero in mezzo a piloti che avevano lo pneumatico posteriore morbido e alcuni quello duro e non è stato semplice lottare con loro all’inizio. Appena sono riuscito a trovare il ritmo ho cominciato la rimonta. È stata una gara positiva dalla quale possiamo ricavare ottime informazioni per la gara di Valencia che sarà il mio ultimo ballo con la Boscoscuro”.
FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 16°
“Abbiamo concluso il fine settimana come volevamo. Ci siamo fermati alle porte della zona punti ma ad ogni modo restiamo contenti del ritmo gara. Siamo stati abbastanza forti e soprattutto abbiamo fatto una bella rimonta imparando moltissimo ad ogni giro. Ancora una gara a Valencia per continuare il nostro apprendimento con la testa già verso la prossima stagione”.

TERMOZETA SPEEDUP AMAZING COMEBACK: NAVARRO SEVENTH AND ALDEGUER SIXTEENTH AT THE FINISH LINE
The Termozeta Speedup team concluded the Algarve Grand Prix, the penultimate round of the season, in seventh and sixteenth position.
A positive weekend for Navarro who proved to be fast and competitive in all the session, confirming himself with seventh place in the race. More complicated starting and first laps in which the number nine lost five positions. Good pace, a lot of determination and the right choice of tire allowed Jorge to climb up to p7, closing, once again, a solid weekend.
The difficulties encountered by Aldeguer during the weekend were paid off with an incredible comeback in today’s race in which team 54 crossed the line just a stone’s throw from the points. Fermín, 28th on the grid, managed to reach p16 with tenacity and a race pace like a real big one in his first race of the Moto2 world championship at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve.
JORGE NAVARRO #9: 7th
“Complicated race because the start and the first three laps were not easy. I was surrounded by riders who had a soft rear tire and some had a hard one and it was not easy to fight with them at the beginning. As soon as I managed to find the rhythm, I started the comeback. It was a positive race from which we can get excellent information for the Valencia race which will be my last dance with the Boscoscuro bike”.
FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 16th
“We ended the weekend as we wanted. We stopped at the gates of the points area but in any case we are happy with the race pace. We were strong enough and above all we made a good comeback learning a lot with each lap. Another race in Valencia to continue our learning with our minds already towards next season”.
