CAG SPEEDUP 

GARA IMPEGNATIVA PER CAG SPEEDUP. ALDEGUER TERMINA IN ZONA PUNTI, LOPEZ È VENTUNESIMO DOPO UNA SCIVOLATA

Al Red Bull Ring si è da poco concluso il decimo appuntamento del Campionato Mondiale Moto2. Una gara impegnativa per i piloti del CAG SpeedUp team che hanno concluso il Gran Premio d’Austria al nono e ventunesimo posto. 

Allo spegnersi dei semafori, sebbene la buona partenza Fermin fatica a mantenere la sesta posizione e dopo i primi giri è nono. Dopo qualche giro Aldeguer guadagna una posizione che mantiene fino a circa metà gara in cui viene sorpassato da Garcia che ne ha di più. Il numero 54 è poi riuscito a mantenere un ritmo stabile fino al traguardo concludendo con un ottimo nono posto. Un risultato sicuramente positivo per la squadra soprattutto dopo un weekend penalizzato da difficoltà tecniche e pochi giri in un tracciato insidioso. 

Per López era prevista una gara difficile e così è stato. Il numero 21 ha iniziato la sua gara balzando da P11 a P7, ma la risalita verso il gruppo di testa si è conclusa con largo anticipo a causa di una scivolata alla curva 2 del quinto giro. Il pilota del CAG SpeedUp, deciso a non mollare, ha poi ripreso la gara terminando in ventunesima posizione un weekend davvero impegnativo, soprattutto dal punto fisico, a causa di un forte dolore all’avambraccio che già da qualche mese ostacola il pilota CAG SpeedUp. 

La settimana prossima infatti Alonso si sottoporrà ad un’operazione di routine in modo da poter tornare al 100% della sua forma fisica sopra la sua Boscoscuro nel prossimo Gran Premio di Catalogna. Tutto il Team SpeedUp augura ad Alonso una pronta guarigione. 

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 9°

“É stato un weekend complicato ma alla fine siamo riusciti ad entrare nella zona punti ed è questo l’importante. Sono settimo in classifica e ci sono ancora molte gare davanti dove avrò la possibilità di dimostrare quello che so fare. Ora dobbiamo continuare a lavorare in vista del GP de Catalunya”.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 21° 

“Mi dispiace molto per la caduta di oggi. Io e il mio team abbiamo lavorato tanto per migliorare il mio feeling in questi giorni; potevo sicuramente fare di meglio e lottare per arrivare nella top 10 poiché ne ho tutte le capacità. Sono scivolato ma spero di risolvere i miei problemi martedì con l’operazione. Grazie al team per tutto il lavoro svolto!”.

TOUGH RACE FOR CAG SPEEDUP. ALDEGUER FINISHES IN THE POINTS, AFTER CRASHING LOPEZ IS 21ST 

The tenth round of the Moto2 World Championship has just ended at the Red Bull Ring. A demanding race for the CAG SpeedUp team riders who finished the Austrian Grand Prix in ninth and twenty-first place.

When the traffic lights went out, despite the good start, Fermin struggled to maintain sixth position and after the first laps he was ninth. After a few laps Aldeguer gained a position which he held until about halfway through the race when he was overtaken by Garcia who was stronger. The number 54 then managed to maintain a stable pace up to the finish line, finishing with an excellent ninth place. A positive result for the team, especially after a weekend penalized by technical difficulties and a few laps on a tricky track.

A difficult race was expected for López and so it was. The number 21 started his race jumping from P11 to P7, but the climb towards the leading group ended well in advance due to a crash at turn 2 on the fifth lap. The CAG SpeedUp rider, determined not to give up, then resumed the race finishing in twenty-first position a really demanding weekend, especially from a physical point of view, due to a strong pain in his forearm that has been hampering the CAG SpeedUp rider for some months now.

In fact, next week Alonso will undergo a routine operation in order to be able to return to 100% of his fitness on his Boscoscuro bike in the next Grand Prix of Catalunya. The whole SpeedUp Team wishes Alonso a speedy recovery.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 9th 

“It was a complicated weekend but in the end we managed to get into the points zone and that’s the important thing. I am seventh in the standings and there are still many races ahead where I will have the chance to show what I can do. Now we have to continue working in view of the GP of Catalunya”.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 21st 

“I am very sorry for the crash today. My team and I have worked hard to improve my feeling these days; I could definitely do better and fight to get into the top 10 as I had all the skills. I crashed but I hope to solve my problems on Tuesday with the operation. Thanks to the team for all the work done!”.
