TERMOZETA SPEED UP

GARA: NAVARRO CHIUDE 8° TRA GLI APPLAUSI DEL PUBBLICO DI CASA E DEL TEAM TERMOZETA SPEEDUP

Da Valencia, è tutto. Si è appena conclusa l’ultima tappa in terra spagnola che segna la fine del Campionato Mondiale Moto2. Il team Termozeta Speed Up ha raggiunto il traguardo del circuito Ricardo Tormo de la Comunitat Valenciana con l’ottava posizione di Jorge Navarro ed il diciassettesimo posto di Fermín Aldeguer.

Una gara non facile, di alto livello, con due partenze a causa di una caduta nei primi giri in pista che ha costretto la direzione allo stop con bandiera rossa, dopo il primo spegnersi dei semafori, per olio in pista.

Al secondo via, con soli sedici giri a disposizione, Jorge perde qualche posizione ma dopo qualche giro inizia la rimonta. Balla dalla decima alla settima posizione, resiste e chiude ottavo tra gli applausi del pubblico di casa e del team confermandosi al nono posto del campionato Moto2 2021.

Solida prestazione anche per Aldeguer al suo primo Gran Premio di casa. Grintoso e determinato, il giovane Fermín ha saputo mantenere ritmo costante in tutta la gara senza commettere errori. P17 al traguardo per squadra 54, ma soprattutto tanta esperienza in tasca per il futuro campionato 2022 alle porte.

JORGE NAVARRO #9: 8°

“La mia ultima gara con il team SpeedUp. Non è stata una gara facile, ma ho dato il massimo e sono arrivato alla fine. Voglio ringraziare tutto il team per il lavoro svolto in questi tre anni, per aver sempre creduto in me e per cercare di darmi sempre il meglio. FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 17°

“Sono contento di com’è andata la gara. Mi spiace ci sia stata la bandiera rossa perché ero partito molto bene recuperando subito posizioni. Ma siamo qui per imparare e qualche errore ci era permesso. Voglio ringraziare tutta la squadra e Luca per l’opportunità data in questo anno, è stato incredibile e sono davvero grato d’aver potuto gareggiare a fine di questo campionato del mondo 2021!”.

RACE: NAVARRO CLOSES 8^TH AMONG THE APPLAUSE OF THE HOME CROWD AND THE TERMOZETA SPEEDUP TEAM

From Valencia, that’s all. The last GP on Spanish soil has just ended, marking the end of the 2021 Moto2 World Championship. The Termozeta Speed ​​Up team reached the finish line of the Ricardo Tormo de la Comunitat Valenciana circuit with the eighth position of Jorge Navarro and the seventeenth place of Fermín Aldeguer.

A difficult, high-level race, with two starts due to a crash in the first laps on the track that forced the direction to stop with a red flag, after the first lights go out, for oil on the track.

At the second start, with only sixteen laps available, Jorge lost a few positions but after a few laps the comeback began. He danced from tenth to seventh position, resisted and closed eighth among the applause of the home crowd and the team, confirming himself in ninth place in the 2021 Moto2 championship.

Solid performance also for Aldeguer at his first home Grand Prix. Gritty and determined, the young Fermín was able to maintain a constant pace throughout the race without making mistakes. P17 at the finish line for team 54, but above all a lot of experience in his pocket for the upcoming 2022 championship.

“I’m happy with how the race went. I’m sorry there was the red flag because I had a very good start, recovering positions immediately. But we are here to learn and we were allowed some mistakes. I want to thank the whole team and Luca for the opportunity given this year, it was incredible and I’m really grateful to have been able to compete at the end of this 2021 World Championship!”.
