GIORNATA POSITIVA PER MB CONVEYORS SPEEDUP ALL’AUTODROMO INTERNAZIONALE DEL MUGELLO

Il Team MB Conveyors SpeedUp è tornato in pista al tecnico ed entusiasmante Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello. Nella prima giornata del Gran Premio d’Italia, gara di casa e appuntamento numero otto del Campionato Mondiale Moto2 2022, Aldeguer e López si classificano rispettivamente in p14 e p15 sotto il sole toscano.

Già dalle FP1 entrambi i portacolori MB Conveyors SpeedUp hanno dimostrato d’essere competitivi; Alonso ha chiuso la prova in p10 in 1’52.906, mentre Fermín ha concluso in p19 con il crono di 1’53.328 dopo la cancellazione del suo giro migliore (1’53.038).

Nel secondo turno le temperature si sono alzate di 5 gradi e non è stato semplice abbassare i tempi della mattina sebbene entrambi i piloti siano riusciti a migliorarsi. Decima posizione per Aldeguer nelle FP2 in 1’52.879 (+0,529), che corrisponde al quattordicesimo tempo della classifica combinata con accesso provvisorio delle Q2. La squadra 21 ha invece chiuso le seconde prove libere in p11 in 1’52.884, quindicesimo tempo della combinata e per 0.005 è rimasta fuori dalla provvisoria Q2, ma per Alonso e tecnici la prima giornata al Mugello è stata al di sopra delle aspettative.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 14° in 1’52.879

“Giornata più o meno positiva perché siamo tornati in questo circuito con aspettative alte dopo il buon risultato della mia prima gara al mondiale Moto2 dello scorso anno. Il Mugello è una pista che mi piace abbastanza, infatti questa mattina siamo partiti bene anche se ci hanno cancellato il giro migliore perdendo così l’accesso temporaneo alle Q2. Abbiamo continuato a lavorare poi nelle FP2 riuscendo a chiudere un buon giro classificandoci in Q2, per ora. E niente, contento del lavoro svolto e determinato a dare tutto!”.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 15° in 1’52.884

“Sono contento di com’è andata questa giornata perché sappiamo dove dobbiamo migliorare. La nostra è una base molto buona e spero che il tempo sia clemente con noi domani così da poter girare con pista asciutta e puntare alle Q2. Se invece come da previsioni piover, all0ora cercheremo di adattarci il prima possibile alle condizioni da bagnato, dato che non abbiamo mai girato con la pioggia quest’anno. Grazie mille alla squadra per il lavoro che abbiamo svolto!”.

POSITIVE DAY FOR MB CONVEYORS SPEEDUP AT THE MUGELLO INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT

MB Conveyors SpeedUp Team is back on track at the technical and exciting Mugello International Circuit. On the first day of the Grand Prix of Italy, home race and appointment number eight of the 2022 Moto2 World Championship, Aldeguer and López classified respectively in p14 and p15 under the Tuscan sun.

Already in FP1, both MB Conveyors SpeedUp standard-bearers proved to be competitive; Alonso finished the session in p10 in 1’52.906, while Fermín finished in p19 with a time of 1’53.328 after the cancellation of his best lap (1’53.038).

In the second session the temperatures rose by 5 degrees and it was not easy to lower the times in the morning although both riders managed to improve. Tenth position for Aldeguer in FP2 in 1’52.879 (+0.529), which corresponds to the fourteenth time of the combined classification with provisional access to Q2. Team 21 instead closed the second free practice in p11 in 1’52.884, fifteenth time of the combined and for 0.005 it remained out of the provisional Q2, but for Alonso and technicians the first day at Mugello was above expectations.

“A more or less positive day because we returned to this circuit with high expectations after the good result of my first race at the Moto2 World Championship last year. Mugello is a track that I like enough, in fact this morning we got off to a good start even though they cancelled our best lap, thus losing temporary access to Q2. We then continued to work in FP2, managing to close a good lap by finishing in Q2, for now. And nothing, happy with the work done and determined to give everything!”.

“I’m happy with how this day went because we know where we need to improve. Ours is a very good base and I hope the weather is kind to us tomorrow so that we can run on a dry track and aim for Q2. If, on the other hand, it will rain as expected, then we will try to adapt to the wet conditions as soon as possible, since we have never ridden in the rain this year. Thanks a lot to the team for the work we have done!”.
