PROVE LIBERE: LÓPEZ E ALDEGUER CHIUDONO LA PRIMA GIORNATA IN P2 E P6

MB Conveyors SpeedUp team è sceso in pista quest’oggi per affrontare le prime prove libere del GP della Germania. Ad ospitare il settimo appuntamento del Campionato Mondiale Moto2 è il Sachsenring dove Alonso López e Fermín Aldeguer hanno concluso il venerdì tedesco rispettivamente in seconda e sesta posizione.

Il portacolori numero 21 inizia in maniera positiva la prima sessione di prove libere. Infatti, dopo una breve sosta ai box, Alonso torna in pista schiacciando il secondo miglior tempo della mattinata con il crono di 1’24.216, a soli +0.237 dal primo. Durante le FP2, Lopez ha dimostrato di essere veloce anche sul bagnato dando del filo da torcere agli altri piloti in pista. Nonostante una lieve scivolata in curva 2 a pochi minuti dalla fine, il madrileño conclude la giornata in seconda posizione della classifica combinata con il crono segnato durante la prova del mattino (1’24.216).

Anche Aldeguer ha terminato un’eccellente FP1 in sesta posizione con il tempo di 1’24.484. Nel pomeriggio, il numero 54 è poi riuscito a sfruttare molto bene il cambio gomme anche se, a causa delle condizioni meteo, non ha abbassato il crono ma ha comunque fatto di vedere di sapersi adattare bene a qualsiasi condizione chiudendo la prova con un ottimo ultimo giro in 1’27.107. Sesto posto quindi per Aldeguer nella classifica combinata a soli +0.505 dal leader.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 2°- 1’24.216

“Sono soddisfatto della giornata di oggi. Siamo stati abbastanza veloci sia con pista asciutta che bagnata e quindi continueremo su questa strada lavorando per dimostrare le nostre capacità soprattutto in una pista tecnica come questa.”

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 4°- 1’24.484

“Sono super contento di oggi. Anche con il bagnato abbiamo lavorato molto bene e abbiamo seguito un buon ritmo. Siamo pronti per domani nella speranza che si ripetano le stesse condizioni meteo per dare il massimo e dimostrare di cosa siamo capaci.”

FREE PRACTICE: LÓPEZ AND ALDEGUER CLOSE THE FIRST DAY IN P2 AND P6

MB Conveyors SpeedUp team took to the track today to face the first free practices of the German GP. To host the seventh round of the Moto2 World Championship is the Sachsenring where Alonso López and Fermín Aldeguer finished the German Friday in second and sixth position respectively.

The number 21 rider started the first free practice session in a positive way. In fact, after a short stop at the garage, Alonso returned to the track crushing the second-best time of the morning with a time of 1’24.216, just +0.237 from the first. During FP2, Lopez proved to be fast even in the wet giving the other riders a hard time on the track. Despite a slight crash in turn 2 a few minutes from the end, the Madrilenian ended the day in second position in the combined standings with the time set during the morning practice (1’24.216).

Even Aldeguer finished an excellent FP1 in sixth position with a time of 1’24.484. In the afternoon, the number 54 took advantage of the tire change even if, due to the weather conditions, he didn’t lower his time but he showed that he knew how to adapt well to any condition by closing the session with an excellent last lap in 1’27.107. Sixth place for Aldeguer in the combined standings, just +0.505 from the leader.

“I’m super happy with today. Even in the wet, we worked very well and followed a good pace. We are ready for tomorrow in the hope that the same weather conditions will be repeated to give our best and demonstrate what we are capable of.”
