PROVE LIBERE: P8 E P11 PER BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP NEL VENERDÍ GIAPPONESE

La Moto2 è finalmente tornata al Motegi circuit con un programma diverso dal solito nel quale è stata prevista una sola sessione di libere nella giornata di oggi.

Altro cambio di livrea per il Team SpeedUp che torna ad indossare con entusiasmo i colori di BETA TOOLS per i restanti cinque appuntamenti della stagione 2022.

Bene la prima giornata del Gran Premio del Giappone in cui Alonso López e Fermín Aldeguer si sono classificati rispettivamente in settima ed undicesima posizione.

Alonso ha iniziato bene la sessione migliorando il tempo al suo secondo run in pista dopo lo stop ai box per il cambio gomme concludendo la prova in 1’51.170 a +0.677 dal primo che equivale al settimo posto della classifica provvisoria delle prove libere.

Bene anche squadra54 che ha concluso la prima giornata a +0.958 con il crono di 1’51.451, undicesima posizione delle FP1. Per Fermín è stata la prima volta in terra giapponese e già da subito ha dimostrato un’ottima capacità di adattamento, come già aveva provato in altre occasioni.

Nella giornata di domani è prevista un’ultima prova di prove libere e nel pomeriggio le qualifiche.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 7° in 1’51.170

“Oggi abbiamo iniziato bene! Era da un po’ che non giravo qui a Motegi e sebbene gli svariati errori nel giro più veloce perché appunto ci manca un po’ di dimestichezza con la pista, devo dire che il feeling c’è e so dove posso migliorare. Quindi per oggi bene, ma domani voglio di più!”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 11° in 1’51.451

“Sono contento di questa prima giornata perché è la mia prima volta in questo circuito! È una pista impegnativa, una delle più complicate del campionato e le sensazioni sulla moto sono state più o meno buone. Devo capire bene i punti più determinanti della pista, ma ad ogni modo io e la mia squadra stiamo lavorando per migliorare. Pronto per domani, per ora siamo provvisoriamente in Q2 e non ci resta che continuare così”.

FREE PRACTICES: P8 AND P11 FOR BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP ON JAPANESE FRIDAY

Moto2 has finally returned to the Motegi circuit with a different program than usual in which only one session has been scheduled for today.

Another change of livery for Team SpeedUp which returns to wear the colors of BETA TOOLS with enthusiasm for the remaining five events of the 2022 season.

In the first day of the Grand Prix of Japan Alonso López and Fermín Aldeguer finished in seventh and first place respectively.

Alonso started the session well by improving the time on his second run on the track after stopping in the garage to change tires, finishing the FP1 in 1’51.170 to +0.677 from the first taking seventh place in the provisional free practice standings .

Team54 also did well, finishing the first day at +0.958 with a time of 1’51.451, which means the eleventh position of the FP1. For Fermín it was the first time on Japanese soil and right from the start he showed an excellent ability to adapt, as he had already experienced on other occasions.

A final free practice session is scheduled for tomorrow and qualifying will be held in the afternoon.

“Today we started well! It had been a while since I had ridden here at Motegi and although the various mistakes in the fastest lap because we are lacking a bit of familiarity with the track, I must say that the feeling is there and I know where I can improve. So good for today, but tomorrow I want more!”.

“I’m happy with this first day because it’s my first time in this circuit! It is a demanding track, one of the most complicated in the championship and the sensations on the bike have been more or less good. I have to understand the most crucial points of the track, but in any case, my team and I are working to improve. Ready for tomorrow, for now we are provisionally in Q2 and we just have to continue like this”.
