PROVE LIBERE: GIORNATA DI LAVORO A LE MANS PER LÓPEZ E ALDEGUER
Al via oggi il Gran Premio di Francia al leggendario circuito di Le Mans con il cambio di livrea per il team SpeedUp che nel weekend francese si riveste dei colori MB Conveyors.
Nella prima giornata di prove libere Alonso López termina con il tredicesimo tempo, mentre Aldeguer si ferma in p24.
Giornata positiva per la new entry del team che porta la sua Boscoscuro in una provvisoria Q2. Alonso ha subito trovato un buon feeling con squadra e moto chiudendo con il decimo tempo le FP1 in 1’36.797 (+0.689). Una leggera caduta durante la seconda sessione di libere ha intralciato il progresso di Alonso facendogli perdere il feeling del mattino senza riuscire a migliorare il tempo concludendo la giornata in p13.
Inizio più complicato per Aldeguer alla sua prima uscita sul circuito di Le Mans con una Moto2. Il giovane pilota ha iniziato il Gran Premio di Francia con il quindicesimo tempo ottenuto a fine FP1 in 1’37.152 (+1.044) ma anche per lui le prove del pomeriggio si sono dimostrate più insidiose e senza miglioramenti al set up della moto slittando fino a p24 della combinata.

“Oggi sono abbastanza contento di com’è andata la nostra prima giornata, soprattutto nelle FP1 in cui mi sono sentito davvero molto bene con la moto e con la squadra. Nelle FP2 volevamo seguire questa linea ma dopo un buon inizio abbiamo sofferto una lieve caduta che ci ha impedito di migliorare le sensazioni del mattino. Ad ogni modo, domani cercheremo di ritrovare la via ed il feeling delle FP1”.

“Giornata complicata! Non siamo riusciti ad ottenere un buon tempo per classificarci nella Q2 provvisoria e a trovare un buon setting nella mia moto. Domani abbiamo un’altra possibilità e speriamo che il tempo resti stabile come oggi, noi continueremo a lavorare per trovare la soluzione ai problemi di oggi”.
FREE PRACTICES: WORKING DAY IN LE MANS FOR LÓPEZ AND ALDEGUER
The Grand Prix of France has started today at the legendary Le Mans circuit with the change of livery for the SpeedUp team which in the French weekend wears the MB Conveyors colours.
On the first day of free practices, Alonso López finished thirteenth, while Aldeguer stopped in p24.
Positive day for the new entry of the team who brought his Boscoscuro bike in a provisional Q2. Alonso immediately found a good feeling with the team and the bike, closing FP1 with the tenth time in 1’36.797 (+0.689). A slight crash during the second free practice session hampered Alonso’s progress causing him to lose the feeling of the morning without being able to improve the time by ending the day in p13.
A more complicated start for Aldeguer on his first outing on the Le Mans circuit with a Moto2. The young rider started the French Grand Prix with the fifteenth time obtained at the end of FP1 in 1’37.152 (+1.044) but also for him the afternoon session proved to be more treacherous and without improvements to the set-up of the bike, slipping up to p24 of the combined classification.

“Today I’m quite happy with how our first day went, especially in FP1 where I felt really good with the bike and with the team. In FP2 we wanted to follow this line but after a good start we suffered a slight crash which prevented us from improving the sensations of the morning. In any case, tomorrow we will try to find the way and the feeling of FP1 again”.

“Complicated day! We weren’t able to get a good time to qualify in provisional Q2 and to find a good setting on my bike. Tomorrow we have another chance and we hope that the weather will remain as stable as today so we will continue to work to find the solution to today’s problems”.
