PROVE LIBERE: ALDEGUER E LÓPEZ VELOCI NEL VENERDÍ AUSTRIACO

Il team CAG SpeedUp è tornato in pista oggi al Red Bull Ring dando il via al Gran Premio d’Austria, appuntamento numero 13 del Campionato Mondiale Moto2.

Veloci già nel primo giorno le due Boscoscuro guidate da Alonso López e Fermín Aldeguer che hanno chiuso la prima giornata rispettivamente in quinta ed ottava posizione.

Il numero 21 di CAG SpeedUp ha concluso le prove del mattino con il diciottesimo tempo in 1’35.950 (+0.950). Individuata la causa dei problemi in curva, Alonso è rientrato in pista nel pomeriggio terminando due ottimi run: il primo con gomme usate e gomma dura al posteriore ed il secondo con gomma nuova morbida provando d’essere veloce in entrambe le situazioni. P5 a fine giornata nella combinata provvisoria per López in 1’34.898 (+0.545).

Fermín ha trovato subito buone sensazioni su una pista a lui del tutto nuova. P9 nelle FP1 in 1’35.465 a +0.465 dal primo. Anche il numero 54 è riuscito ad essere incisivo sia con gomme usate che nuove nella sessione del pomeriggio in cui si è classificato con un ottimo settimo tempo in 1’35.087 (+0.734), ottavo della combinata.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 5° in 1’34.898

“Sono felice di questa prima giornata perché siamo riusciti a concludere con buone sensazioni sebbene i problemi di messa a punto avuti nella prima prova. Le modifiche apportate alla moto prima delle FP2 hanno cambiato di molto le sensazioni di guida in pista, mi sono sentito subito a mio agio e più veloce. Sono quindi molto contento della quinta posizione di oggi, continueremo a lavorare in questa direzione!”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 8° in 1’35.087

“Contento delle sensazioni che ho avuto oggi. Ci stiamo avvicinando poco a poco alla guida e al feeling che vogliamo. Ci sono ancora dei punti sui quali dobbiamo lavorare domani nelle ultime di libere, ma per ora soddisfatti del lavoro svolto. Avanti così!”.

FREE PRACTICES: ALDEGUER AND LÓPEZ FAST ON AUSTRIAN FRIDAY

CAG SpeedUp is back on track today at the Red Bull Ring, kicking off the Austrian Grand Prix, event number thirteenth of the Moto2 World Championship.

Fast already on the first day the two Boscoscuro bikes led by Alonso López and Fermín Aldeguer who finished the first day respectively in fifth and eighth position.

The number 21 of CAG SpeedUp finished the morning practice with the eighteenth time in 1’35.950 (+0.950). Having identified the cause of the cornering problems, Alonso returned to the track in the afternoon, finishing two excellent runs: the first with used hard tire and the second with new soft tire, trying to be fast in both situations. P5 at the end of the day in the provisional combined ranking for López in 1’34.898 (+0.545).

Fermín immediately found good sensations on a track that was completely new to him. P9 in FP1 in 1’35.465 to +0.465 from the first. The number 54 also managed to be incisive both with used and new tires in the afternoon session in which he finished with an excellent p7 in 1’35.087 (+0.734), p8 of the combined sessions.

“I am happy with this first day because we managed to finish with good sensations despite the set-up problems we had in the first session. The changes made to the bike before FP2 have greatly changed the driving sensations on the track, I immediately felt at ease and faster. I am therefore very happy with today’s fifth position; we will continue to work in this direction!”.

“Happy with the sensations I had today. We are gradually getting closer to the driving and the feeling we want. There are still some points on which we have to work tomorrow in the last free practice sessions, but for now we are satisfied with the work done. Let’s go on like this!”.
