GRAN PREMIO VALENCIA: ALDEGUER AD UN PASSO DAL PODIO, LÓPEZ CADE AL QUARTO GIRO MA SI CONFERMA UN AVVERSARIO DA BATTERE

Da Valencia, è tutto. Si è appena conclusa l’ultima tappa spagnola che segna la fine del Campionato Mondiale Moto2. Aldeguer ha voglia di lasciare il segno in casa e ci riesce prendendosi la quarta posizione. López ha dato tutto quello che aveva ma al quarto giro la sua corsa per la vittoria ed il titolo di Rookie of Year sono sfumati con la caduta alla curva 11.

È arrivata la fine di questo Campionato Mondiale Moto2 e anche il momento di fare qualche bilancio per il Beta Tools SpeedUp. Per Alonso López, un campionato iniziato in corsa e proseguito ad alta velocità in cui ha lottato fino all’ultimo per il titolo di “Rookie of the Year” sebbene la sua stagione fosse iniziata al settimo gran premio.

È il primo intero Campionato Mondiale Moto2 per Fermín in cui ha lottato dall’inizio alla fine conquistando tantissimi progressi e momenti di crescita personale mostrando carattere e personalità, il più giovane di tutti e già con due pole position in saccoccia.

Una stagione molto positiva e determinata per il Beta Tools SpeedUp che chiude al sesto posto con 242,5 punti nella classifica team.

Alonso López chiude il campionato 2022 ottavo in classifica con 155,5 punti, con 5 podi: 2 vittorie (Gp San Marino; Gp Australia) 2 secondi posti (Gp Gran Bretagna; Gp Malesia), 1 terzo posto (Gp Giappone) ed 1 pole position (Gp de la Comunitat Valenciana).

Fermín Aldeguer invece, chiude l’anno quindicesimo in classifica con 80 punti, con 2 pole position (Gp Argentina; Gp Australia) ma soprattutto con tanta esperienza in tasca per affrontare il futuro campionato mondiale Moto2 2023 con Team SpeedUp ed Alonso López.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 4°

“Alla fine concludiamo questa stagione con la quarta posizione, per noi super importante. Oggi il nostro obiettivo era lottare per il podio, ma un problema fisico mi ha limitato. Siamo ad ogni modo molto contenti di com’è andato tutto il weekend e già carichi per il lavoro che ci aspetta prima di iniziare un altro mondiale assieme!”

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: DNF

“Sono contento di come abbiamo affrontato questo ultimo fine settimana di gara. Ovviamente ci dispiace per la caduta di oggi perché ci sentivamo davvero forti e fiduciosi per la gara e mi fa rabbia concludere la stagione così perché il titolo di Rookie of the Year sarebbe stata la ciliegina sulla torta. Non potevamo chiedere di più, è stato spettacolare e sono davvero onorato d’essere tornato qui. Ringrazio tutti, ci vediamo alla prossima stagione ancora più competitivi!”.

From Valencia, that’s all. The last Spanish leg that marks the end of the Moto2 World Championship has just ended. Aldeguer wanted to leave his mark at home and he succeeded by taking fourth position. López gave everything he had but on lap four his run for victory and the Rookie of Year title vanished with the crash at Turn 11.

The end of this Moto2 World Championship has come and also the time to take stock of the Beta Tools SpeedUp team. For Alonso López, a championship that began running and continued at high speed in which he fought to the last for the title of “Rookie of the Year” even though his season began at the seventh grand prix.

It is the first entire Moto2 World Championship for Fermín in which he has fought from start to finish, conquering a lot of progress and moments of personal growth showing character and personality, the youngest of all and already with two pole positions in his pocket.

A very positive and determined season for Beta Tools SpeedUp that concluded in sixth place with 242.5 points in the team standings.

Alonso López closed the 2022 championship eighth in the standings with 155.5 points, with 5 podiums: 2 victories (Gp San Marino; Gp Australia) 2 second places (British Gp; Gp Malaysia), 1 third place (Gp Japan) and 1 pole position (GP de la Comunitat Valenciana).

Fermín Aldeguer, on the other hand, closed the year fifteenth in the standings with 80 points, with 2 pole positions (Gp Argentina; Gp Australia) but above all with a lot of experience with him to face the future Moto2 2023 World Championship with Team SpeedUp and Alonso López.

“In the end we concluded this season with the fourth position, which is super important for us. Our goal today was to fight for the podium, but a physical problem limited me. Obviously, we are sorry for today’s crash because we felt really strong and confident for the race and it makes me angry to finish the season like this because the Rookie of the Year title would have been the icing on the cake.
