BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP AND BOSCOSCURO ON THE HIGHEST STEP OF THE PODIUM OF THE BRITISHGP: ALDEGUER’S FIRST VICTORY AT THE SILVERSTONE CIRCUIT

The Beta Tools SpeedUp never ceases to surprise! In the British Grand Prix Fermin Aldeguer took his first podium in Moto2, while for Alonso the race ended on the eighth lap due to a crash.

Lots of joy in the Beta Tools SpeedUp box thanks to the amazing and first victory in the world championship of the number 54, who at only eighteen years old, climbed to the highest step of the podium at the Silverstone Circuit after a perfect race. When the traffic lights went out, with a good start Fermin placed himself in the leading group and in the first laps of the race there was a constant bagarre with Acosta and Canet. It was from the tenth lap that Aldeguer took the lead and, in a few laps, he managed to increase the distance from the same Canet and Acosta proving to be the fastest on the track. In the last laps of the race, very determined, Fermin kept increasing the gap, arriving alone and for his first time at the finish line.

“Alonshow” start for the number 21 who immediately took the lead of the race as he usually does. Despite the great potential, Lopez felt that the feeling on his Boscoscuro bike was not the same as the weekend and just when he took that risk to keep the top positions he crashed, excluding any possibility of fighting.

“Super happy. The feeling I had from the start was great and without a doubt we deserved the win after this weekend’s results. I’m proud of myself but especially of my team who did an outstanding job with the bike. We hope it will be the first victory of many”.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: DNF

“I’m a bit disappointed about today’s race. It certainly wasn’t the result I was expecting since everything was going well over the weekend. On the grid I was confident and concentrated even if the sensations on the track changed. A pity then because I was feeling strong but we’ll make up for it at the next race”.
