SOLID START FOR SYNC SPEEDUP IN AUSTRIA GP FREE PRACTICE. P6 AND P14 FOR LÓPEZ AND ALDEGUER
The Sync SpeedUp team returned to the track today at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, where they tackled the first day of free practice for the Austrian Grand Prix. The Friday concluded with promising results for López and Aldeguer, who secured the sixth and fourteenth fastest times, respectively, provisionally guaranteeing them a spot in the Q2.
The day began with the team focused on analyzing track conditions and adapting the Boscoscuro to the demands of the Austrian circuit. During the morning session, Alonso recorded a time of 1’35.186, which placed him in fourteenth position. In the afternoon, the Madrilenian showed significant improvement despite some initial difficulties. Thanks to a strategic tire change, he managed to significantly improve his time, finishing the session with an excellent 1’34.364, securing the sixth position and provisional access to Q2.
Fermín and his team dedicated the first session to fine-tuning the bike, finishing with a time of 1’35.186, which earned him the sixth position. In the afternoon session, the young Spanish rider continued to work on the bike’s setup, achieving the fourteenth fastest time with a 1’34.770, set during his third and final run.
