CHALLENGING RACE FOR THE BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP: LÓPEZ FINISHES ELEVENTH AT THAI GP, ALDEGUER INJURED WILL MISS THE MALAYSIAN GP

The Thai GP proved to be particularly challenging for the Beta Tools SpeedUp riders, marked by intense moments and unfortunate setbacks throughout the race.

At the start, Alonso López, who began in fourteenth position on the grid, showed incredible determination by quickly climbing to third place in the early moments of the race. However, a braking error forced him wide, causing him to lose ground and return to his starting position. Despite some difficulties, Alonso pushed through to finish in eleventh place.

For Fermín Aldeguer, the Thai GP was even more complicated. Following a strong start, rider number 54 had an incident on the first lap due to an overly aggressive maneuver in a corner, which led him to lose control of his Boscoscuro and collide with Arbolino. Taken to the medical center for checks, examinations revealed the need for surgery on his left hand, which will prevent him from participating in the upcoming Malaysian GP.

The entire team wishes Fermín a smooth recovery.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 11th

“It was a really intense race. I had a good start and felt confident at the beginning, but unfortunately I made a mistake that forced me to re-enter the track in a much lower position. I tried to recover and fight until the end, but finishing eleventh is not what I was hoping for. We need to analyze what happened and work to come back stronger in the next race”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: DNF

“I am disappointed with how my race ended. I had high expectations, but things didn’t go as planned. The impact with Arbolino was hard, and I regret how everything turned out. Now I need to focus on my recovery and hope to be back on track as soon as possible. I want to thank the team for their support and everyone who is close to me during this time”.
