QUALIFYING: SECOND AND THIRD ROW FOR THE MB CONVEYORS SPEEDUP RIDERS AT THE GERMAN GRAND PRIX
At Sachsenring, the MB Conveyors SpeedUp riders completed the second day of the German Grand Prix obtaining the second and third row of the starting grid for tomorrow’s race.
During FP3, Alonso once again showed great ability in the wet by finishing the session in P1 (1’34.449) and thus ensuring access to Q2 in the afternoon. Thanks to his trademark determination and an essential tire change, López finished German qualifying in fifth place with a time of 1’24.264 (+0.406), obtaining the second row at the start of tomorrow’s race.
Aldeguer, who was also very fast today riding his Boscoscuro bike, obtained the second fastest time on a wet track in the last free practice session. The number 54, thanks to the sixth time in the combined practice standings, moved directly to Q2 where with great firmness he managed to improve his time by two tenths of a second, concluding qualifying in eighth position, 1’24.280 +0.422 from the leader. The MB Conveyors SpeedUp rider will start tomorrow from the third row of the grid, right behind his teammate.
