SYNC SPEEDUP TEAM RIDERS CONCLUDE PRE-SEASON TESTING IN PORTUGAL

The Sync SpeedUp Team recently concluded two days of pre-season testing at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, which this year will host the second race of the Moto2 World Championship.

López and Aldeguer preferred not to take advantage of the first day of testing due to the bad weather which made the track conditions less than ideal for lapping.

This afternoon, however, the weather allowed the Spanish riders to work on their Boscoscuro.

At the end of the day, numbers 21 and 54 totaled 44 (fastest lap: 1’46.036) and 40 laps (fastest lap: 1’45.619) respectively, thus closing the first tests of 2024.

Team SpeedUp is now en route to the next destination to face the official Jerez tests, scheduled from February 28th to March 1st. For the event, the Boscoscuro and the entire SpeedUp Team will dress in the colors of Sync Tecnologie Meccaniche, already at our side throughout the Portuguese weekend.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: “I’m happy with today because we had the chance to work with mixed track conditions and test the Pirelli tyres in different situations. The sensations are good even if there is still a bit of work missing. Now I’m ready for the official testing in Jerez”.

FERMĺN ALDEGUER #54: “We finally got out on the track. Even though we started in the rain, we managed to achieve excellent results and then set the best time in the dry. See you in Jerez”.
