ALONSHOW RETURNS TO THE PODIUM WITH AN EXCEPTIONAL THIRD PLACE, WHILE ALDEGUER FINISHES THE INDONESIAN GP IN FOURTH POSITION
In a physically demanding circuit characterized by extremely high temperatures, the Beta Tools SpeedUp team demonstrated exceptional grit, talent, and determination, clinching a well-deserved third place with Alonso López and an excellent fourth place with Fermín Aldeguer.
Alonso showcased his skills with a remarkable start, immediately jumping into second position behind Canet, the race winner, and ahead of the Japanese rider. Although Ogura managed to overtake him for second place, López remained undeterred. He fought until the last lap, fiercely defending his third position against constant pressure from Gonzalez behind him. Thanks to impeccable management and great determination, number 21 crossed the finish line in third place, securing another well-deserved podium.
Fermín’s race was equally thrilling and competitive. After positioning himself behind his teammate, 15 laps from the end, a misjudgment forced him back several positions. Additionally, contact with Guevara activated the airbag in his suit, causing him to drop further after a previous recovery. However, at that moment, Aldeguer began an incredible comeback in the last six laps of the race, rising from ninth position to finish the Indonesian GP with a fantastic fourth place.
The Beta Tools SpeedUp is already packing for the Japanese GP, which will take place next weekend.
ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 3rd
“This is a circuit that, honestly, I don’t like and where I didn’t even think I could get a fifth place. However, we worked really well all weekend and even though the race was extremely demanding, both physically and because of the intense heat, I managed to fight against Ogura, Manu and Fermín. The pressure was a lot, but I exploited my strong points, such as the stop and go, and I drove an excellent race. I’m really happy with the result and I owe it all to my team. This podium is more theirs than mine”.
FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 4th
“It was a very difficult race. At the beginning I managed to maintain a good pace behind Alonso, but then a small mistake made me lose several positions. Also, the incident with Guevara that activated the airbag in my suit forced me to slow down even further. Despite everything, I didn’t give up and continued to push to the maximum, especially because I had much more than the others. In the final laps I recovered many positions and in the end I finished in fourth place. Now we think about the work we have to do in view of the next race”.
