P5 AND P9 FOR MB CONVEYORS SPEEDUP ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE CATALAN GP

The SpeedUp Team hit the track for the sixth round of the 2024 Moto2 World Championship at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, unveiling a new livery sponsored by MB Conveyors. Riders Fermín Aldeguer and Alonso López finished fifth and ninth respectively at the end of the first day of the Catalan GP.

During the morning session, Aldeguer carried out a race simulation, testing both types of tires. Thanks to the soft compound, number 54 improved his time, finishing the FP in tenth position with a time of 1’43.591. Results were even more positive in the second session, where, after a corner exit, he returned to the track, clocking his best time of the day at 1’43.083.

Rider number 21, after two pit stops to address a rear grip issue with his Boscoscuro, concluded the session with the second-best time in Free Practice at 1’43.042. López, in FP1, worked with his team on bike setup, closing out the Catalan Friday with a time of 1’43.302 which earned him ninth position in the standings.
